For this Season, yes. It is fun to play the flavor of the month so to speak. Next Season it will be something else that tops the Meta tier charts. Such is the cycle of these games. The classes will NEVER be balanced I don’t think.
I play what I want to play, when I want to play it. Some folks really do have an attachment to a specific class though and really enjoy it. I am usually more Sorc oriented and my least fav class in any game is Barb. Sorry Aysrian! I just don’t like the play style. Same goes for Paladin really.
I have just accepted that some Seasons my fav class may not be in the Meta. Others it will do really well. It is what it is. I would love to see at least one build from each class be S tier, or at least A tier though.
You mean the explanation of how why they don’t have exact power shown in game? That is an older philosophy from D3 to preserve the free form old feel of games before expansive guide sites. Let players just play with the gear and realize that many combos are good enough, not just one guide site.
I don’t know if the current Devs specifically listed that, but it seems to me they have at last continued with it. Good or bad. Again, I think it works for a simpler game like D3, but for a game with a respec cost it is helpful to be able to see power/test builds somehow in game. That is just my opinion though, and I don’t make games.
Lol,mele builds always suck in arpgs,Me smash i like the up front in your face style . Curently playing Hota/Cota pet builds its rough with no dps. Eight out of 10 yrs in d3 barb sucked, i still played it.
Blizzard is selling the official Diablo 4 Steelseries Game mouse which has Macros functionality. It will be contentious if some one deem violate EULA when use a software belong to a Diablo 4 mouse.
Automation is part of accessibility, not cheating. Actually we already have automation under the Accessibility option, which allow permanent automatic attack with one click. The difference of this in game accessibility option compare to the steel series Diablo 4 mouse is limited functionality.
The in-game auto attack accessibility option allow my SB to AFK in heltide maiden spot farm cinders for 45 minutes with a proper AFK build. Am I consider cheating by automate my character with in game options? Not to question your statement, just I think Blizzard need to re-visit the automation policy as the line is blur with the accessibility option they offered in game and also the hardware they supplied to players.
Is it, for me the Diablo 4 theme red LED at the bottom of the mesh mouse cover look cool to me. I will check the D3 version if it looks better. I still consider whether I should buy this or the Logitech wireless game mouse, to replace my current wired game mouse. The Steel series is way more expensive.
You can check out the D3 mouse design, but it’s not worth buying after all these years. I saw the WoW mouse as well and more my cup of tea, although I never play WOW. Maybe I’m old school, I love having all those programmable buttons on the side.
I have checked, both also have programmable buttons on the side. The D4 version have more buttons. Actually the only buttons on the side are easy to click, is awkward to click any small buttons beside the main left click button, especially I have small hand
Lol. People have been using that excuse for 20 years. ALL gaming mice have software that includes macro functions. It is up to the user to read the rules of each game you play with that mouse. It just has D4 branding on it. It is a gaming mouse that does all the things that a gaming mouse does. For use with all games, not just one. The mouse does not care about rules. That is up to the user.
That is like saying you were sold a car in your country that can go 150 mph then being upset you got arrested for outrageously unsafe driving against the laws.
Yes, people get banned for automation, including macros. Don’t do it.
Using anything outside what the game provides to automate is what gets accounts hit with anti-cheat penalties.
I use a Logitech G502 which fits my small hands very nicely! Not as fancy as some of the mice with whole gaming pads on them, but it has plenty of buttons for my needs. Nice size and weight too.
Same with runes. The non-legendary runes are easy to miss and I have yet to see one show up in the stash like leg items do, and I’m sure I’ve missed at least 1, esp in HT running around. And being it that non-leg runes are used to craft mythics, they are important.
From memory (and I could be wrong) they used to be auto pickup.
Recently (i.e. last season) there was the whole thing where they became insanely rare, which they eventually fixed; I am gonna guess that at the same time, they made them a manual pickup, presumably so that you can actually notice you’re getting them.
If they want to make important items clickable, the should really make them show up on the minimap since there’s a point in the game where we’re just speed farming and blasting from group to group and the amount of screen clutter makes it kinda hard to see depending of what class/build you play… the dmg numbers are enough for me to sometimes skip a rune drop when a sudden poison pool sorta shows itself and I manage to dash away just to jump the next group. Also I noticed that since Subo was implemented I get random mats (mostly herb nodes, never seen ore nodes so far) and enemies showing up on my minimap randomly… small bug but yeah that’s there in the to do list, as always thanks for your input miss.
Simple answer. This is so they can hit more metrics. That is what most of this game is designed to do. Remember how much we had to complain about the 1 storage chest in town before it was fixed? Same reason. Whenever you ask yourself why we backtrack in pits, why we dont have max movement in friendly areas, why we dont have movements that work in town, I always just think to hit more metrics is in there as a reason somewhere.
I actually have enough to make some of them (and almost there for the rest) just from playing solo. If you do your boss runs, and also keep upgrading the runes, you’ll eventually get what you need. Just not quickly
