You would figure the shop which by no means you have to buy anything from the shop but you would figure the shop items would be some epic, fantastic blow the items away in game offerings. I am not saying every item should be there has to be a balance but this is the 3rd shop reset and everything kinda sucks. Like, Pretty bad.

Not to mention this round only added 1 new item for barb and that’s it.
Was really hoping there would have been a wider rotation at the start because the Sorc gear in the shop for males look terrible.

Tell them the FREE stuff sucks and the shop is awesome! But, oh how I wish I could purchase!
That way they make more sick looking free gear to transmog and keep their desert themed bologna in the cash shop! Come on OP, get it together!

Whatever, it applies anyway. Cash shop transmogs are booty for some classes.

You are shopping for items based off their item affix.
Then you can craft it into gear using the whatevers … item stat rocks…
They won’t break the theme of the game, anything super epic/fantastic wouldn’t fit the theme of Diablo, it’s just more things within the theme of the world, you can often find better stuff in-game but some of it might tickle your fancy. I would’ve bought some of the stuff if they weren’t class locked.
I mean the necro set looks pretty epic and fantasical.
The cash shop looks like it was tacked on at the last minute. It’s legit one of the worst implementations of a RMT shop I’ve ever seen. Makes it very, very easy to not even look at the contents, let alone buy anything. This is why I don’t think it’s as important to their plans as people think. The battle pass is how they plan to make revenue off the game, cosmetic shop is just a cherry on top.
Its pretty much all the same crap since release. And sorcerer is not getting much love😮💨
The shop was supposed to be a money maker and sell in-game upgrades ala Immortal. Pretty sure the marketeers demanded that early on, but focus groups said NO EFFING WAY!
The artists in this game are good. Really good. All aspects of the look of this game is superlative.
What the marketing department is having them do now that $35 mounts are actually faster than free mounts, is just add tidbits (armor or trophies) so a buyer thinks they actually got something good.
I have yet to find pants or dresses that don’t make my sorc look like Bertha Butt.
