They sell something only for the fact of being merchants but who is buying such trash items ?
It’s kind of empty content… They should sell some useful things or juste delete them.

bet you are low lev and don’t check em regularly. 10 days ago or so i was about lev 75. checked as each now and then i always do the weapons vendor in kyovashad, and oh lookie: a nice 823 ip staff with incredibly good stats (after reroll of a single affix and upgrades, an almost 2800 dmg per sec weapon). now many levels later i still haven’t found anything to replace it, nevermind all the dungeons or helltides, boss and whispers stashes uniques etc ever since. it instantly allowed me to go far higher lev nm dungeons and got back the gold in 1-2 runs instead of… ages, as it took til that moment. i still check vendors each now and then, and saw other times very good weapons and armor (nothing good enough to replace what i have now, but also very hard to find anything to replace what i have now any other way: not a vendors problem, simply a logical thing, once your gear is all 800+ and with good rolls, it becomes very hard to find something better - conversely of course the worse your gear is, the easier it is to replace it).
and, second but not less important. a very bad thing the game does (along the rest), is making almost all drops same lev requirement of the lev your current hero has (example, you are a lev 75 sorc, you get dropped a staff req lev 75). that makes all drops useless for alts (your alt can’t use a weapon you dropped with your main until your alt reaches same lev your main dropped that weapon, making void one of the most nice things all previous games got well, where you could often drop gear with lower lev requirement or in case, just roll the affix specifically for that). but at lower (and lowest) levels, vendors weapons and armor are very good in comparison to drops, and this allows to gear a fresh alt in seconds. gold, wich was a problem with first character at same level, is not a problem anymore. you have tons of it, and the cost of weapons and armor at low lev is laughable anyway. so a total almost godlike instant gear load for your alt, comes basically at peanuts price.
in conclusion… vendors are good. don’t underestimate them.

Nah m8 - just TERRIBLE rolls. Just like all the loot I find. Ugly, confused and schizo gear.

I regularly see 800++. Saw an 825 Bow and bought it on general principle and added it to my overflowing stash filled with "hmmmmm 
" items and all the possiblities I’ll never doi anything with.

That being said: Vendors aren’t a surefire way to ‘farm gear’ but they can “drop” an 800+ GFG tippety top Tier perfect item should the rng gods and goddesses smile upon thee within the 1 hour window said item is available and you’re on to buy it, think to check vendors etc.

I have seen a legendary at the vendor.
Its all rng just like loot.and no they dont sell useless stuff all the time.i bought few amazing rares from there.its all about luck
