Please Blizzard let me BE the horse… or at least let me use my werebear/werewolf form as a mount and run at mount speeds.

That would be awesome lol, i guess they would not bring that as a feature, for all the problems they already have to fix, but the idea of not depending on a horse, as we are shapeshiftrs makes a lot of sense.
Imagine if we could be moving faster as a werebear and when you use the “horse impulse”, you have a trample animation.
Right now, i only hope they allow us to break the skel barriers with horse impulse, but if they somehow made your idea possible with this…that would be awsome…QOL would get a nice improvement.

That sounds too much like exercise. My chonky druid wants to be carried around. 
Edit: the real reason is probably so they can try to get you to buy cosmetics on the shop.

Need to save energy for fighting. Would be bad if we arrive tired on a battle after running by ourselves across regions
