Why do ancestral's hardly drop in torment 4 seriously why?

at least last season after 90 you would find them …just why are they so rare .

because
a) we dont need to drown in loot and you still get plenty in infernal hordes
b) they have a guaranteed greater affix, which wasnt the case in the last season

Yeah, But getting a IH Compass is almost as rare as the Ancestral.
And when i do run IH here is what i mostly get for ancestral.
***** 45 Cold resist
***** 45 poison resist
***** 45 Lightning resist
You get the idea. I salvage about 70% of the Ancestral gear i get the rest i have on or save for another class. If i roll another class.

iuno, i get them fairly regularly from all kinda of stuff. Helltides, worldbosses etc. not always the 10 waves ones tho of course.

what id say is super rare are legendary, or even unique undercity tributes ^^

haha man the rng is weird in this game i have like 5 legendary tributes but no IH Compass. go figure.

a friend had 1 unique tribute lol ^^

Tree of Whispers grants a compass every time you turn them in.

Yep, Got them from Hell tides and NMD. I ran the under city about three times and was not impressed with the loot at the end. So I’m hanging on to them for now.

undercity is really just for selective farming. Like, im still needing upgrades on a resource aspect, so yea, thats what i use my tributes for. Def not the choice if you need a lot of stuff

Not for me, I have got a Compass from the tree of whispers but only about every 4 or 5 turn in’s.
Idk, My luck with IH Compasses just sucks i guess. Maybe because that is my favorite thing to run? haha

I don’t get alot in hordes at all . and one greater affix makes it an ancestral this season. you can’t masterwork them to 12 until you find an ancestral .

Ancestral drops are also too rare in my opinion and from what I can tell, the other folk in my clan think likewise.

I am completely fine with them being much rarer than they were but they went a tad TOO far in the direction for my taste. When I can do a whole Helltide on Tier 4 and get only 1 or none… no likey.

Yea they really need to up the Ancestral drop rates. You can’t screw people over with the drop rate and tempering

Yeah… I do get an ancestral to drop in IH… but 95% of them of crappy uniques that I can’t use… how the hell does “Fist of Fate” seem to drop in 25% of the caches? And “Penitent Greaves” in another 25% of them? Those two damn worthless items are easily half the ancestrals I get. Which means no chance at an ancestral aspect. I’m going to run some IH with 2.0.3 and see if things get any better. I did verify the Zakarum pots are working better.

I sincerly got only this as well…Also they keep on dropping freaking 2h spears with ga and mostly only those…wth
