Why did we get another diablo 3?

That’s just at the high level. Bots, no-lifers, and streamers are going to acquire valuable items more regularly. With a typical economy, that means that the drop rates will have to be adjusted to maintain item rarity due to the rates seen by people running the game 18 hours a day.

Valuable and build enabling items will drop less and require trade for the majority that don’t have an umbilical cord hooked up to the internet. On the flip side, the items they will be trading will also be found in higher quantities by that same 1%. That would drive prices down, making it even harder to make a trade for the more valuable items.

Then there’s how you handle it. Is it via chat like PoE, where it’s enabling RMT and spread across various sites and tools, and people holding items might not even be online to trade? Or are we talking an auction hall that the community revolted against?

I enjoy limited trading. I don’t enjoy having to spam refresh on a ton of different sites and having to spend hours messaging randoms trying to trade for a single item I need.
