twice now I completed a stronghold and received a skill point, to my knowledge completing a stronghold should not give you a skill point by itself?
it was not the renown reward and it was not a level up, what am I missing?
Take a look at renown, via the map.

false alarm, it was a level up after all, it’s just that they give so much XP that I thought I gained 20% XP but actually got 120% instead
