Where do you get your news, then? Specifically where do you get gaming news and information?
I cannot think of a single non-profit gaming outlet, and otherwise all news comes from for-profit developers and publishers.
They sure did, and rightly so.

Granted the patch did go way too far all at once and the devs are rightly eating crow for it, but itās also true that we collectively overreacted.
If they donāt make good on their recent promises then by all means have at it, but people need to chill for now.

I could tell you a bunch but not sure how the mods will react to such facts.
I will say I travelled quite a bit during the period and never had a specific thing and never gotten sick.

if you really think diablo is a 2/10 game you are insane even games like fallout76 and redfall are around that rating and those were straight up unplayable

D4 was about 6.5-7 in my book before patch 1.1.0.
After?
It dropped hard to like a 3.5-4 rating.
The game was kind of okay, at least for me. But patch 1.1.0 went in the completely wrong direction of fixing the game and elevating it to a high score. It feels like a lot of players felt that way. It made it noticeably less fun for a lot of players, and even the developers have admitted the patch made the game less fun.

because you can download LOL or DOTA and experience the same excitement of building a character with unique gear and stats in 20-30 mins vs players of equal skill or play D4 where the same experience costs the virgin blood of your newborn son, $100 and a stupid grind of following this forum, twitter, zuckerbergs threads, teamspeak, discord and the instagram of a nun from ireland.

I donāt like this new Blizzard. I love the Diablo Series. Thatās why I donāt play WoW.
Btw, I am not the one who was denying all the evidence of the harm that it caused that was later proven to the point it got banned in some countries and lawsuits are being filed around it. *shrug*

Diablo 2 Resurrected is a great game, and it came out a long time ago, WOW classic era is also a great game
āBombingā is nothing new. Movies bomb, games bomb, albums bomb, etc. D4 bombed.

Totally agree.
I would have rated the beta an 8, maybe even 8.5, because it gave the impression of deep itemization and crafting.
Once I played through the campaign, I think it would have been 7.5-8 for me, and I was thinking it was a great base they could build on.
Once I hit level 75, had all BiS gear, and saw how insanely linear the game was, as well as how horrid the itemization was ā all legendary aspects forcing me into 2 builds, all unique items being horrible, etc. ā I would have given it a 6.5 or so.
After 1.1, it became so bad, I honestly havenāt been able to even play since then. I refuse to play season one despite the fact that I bought the battle pass. They can have it, for all I care.
This game is entirely dead to me until the fix it. And honestly, no matter what they do, if it doesnāt have good itemization that inspires an item hunt, itāll never be a good ARPG.
