Why Diablo 4 Is Better than Path of Exile 2

Diablo 4 is way better

  1. Insane mechanics but tolerable.
  2. You can easily level up from 1 to 100 pretty easy and fast
  3. No XP penalty
  4. If you die doing activities, just revive and spawn back and you will not
    loose the map and no XP loss.
  5. No lag doing multiplayer.
  6. Blizzard respects player time.
  7. Loot does not debuff on death
  8. Boss cannot one shot your character.
  9. Armor, and resistances works 100%
  10. Provides Tier 100 maps.

Why I hate Path of Exile 2
Well, I’ve played Path of Exile 2 with a total playtime of 521.6 hours. It’s been the worst ARPG I’ve played so far.

Path of Exile 2 is an ARPG for gamblers, whoever has a deeper pockets wins and have the best builds. Please avoid buying this crappy game it’s a waste of your money, time hours spent, and not worthy of investment.

Lots of players already left due to disappointment, and GGG loss a chunk of the player based -80%.

Here’s the list why I hated it so much:

  1. Ridiculous and insane mechanics that makes you go rage and quit.
  2. One shot mechanics incorporated in the game, even a regular mob can one shot your character.
  3. Character levelling to 100 is hard due to -10% Death XP Penalty at end game and trials , which is horrible.
  4. If you die at endgame you lose the map, xp penalty, time spent etc.
  5. Horrible server lag due to limited server across regions.
  6. GGG a big NO respect for player time.
  7. Loot debuff on death
  8. Trials will fail if honour went down to zero, and -10% XP penalty imposed.
  9. Boss doesn’t care about your build, you end up getting one shot
  10. Armor, and resistances are broken in this game
  11. If player dies doing Citadels, you loose the map and you need to find another citadel.
  12. Can’t pickup drop items, unless you kill all mobs in the area.
  13. No item filtering by level, stats, etc.
  14. No auto pickup for specific loot drop (like auto pickup items of your favorites, etc.)
  15. Trash loot drop, you need to farm more currency to upscale the item stats.
  16. Does not provide Waystone Level 100, game is currently stuck at Waystone 15 Level 79.
  17. No crafting bench.
  18. Loot drop is horrible, it’s scattered all over the screen. And it becomes so hard to see the map because the loot drop filled the entire screen. (Diablo 4 is way better stacked vertically)

There’s a lot more to this . . .

Well, I played Poe 2 and it’s really not my cup of tea either (THOUGH, it’s a decent enough game).

Uhm, I DO THINK it would be in your wise interest to put the things you like about D 4 in comparison to POE 2 (just so potentially your Thread doesn’t get locked?), I don’t know.

I would of MORE so been for POE 2 if POE Elitists woudln’t claim that POE 2 was gonna put D 4 into the ground and kill it as well as it’s D4 fan’s. :unamused: …

That is quite impressive, just the fact you’d spend 21 days of your life on something you dislike so much. Although I guess marriages are the same for lots of people.

What mechanics?
Max level is 60.
Death is pointless.
No one plays multiplayer.
Blizzard is trying to slow progression.
Death is still pointless.
Bosses can now one shot your character.
Blizzard finally fixed armor and resistance.
Provides no player agency in endgame.

You forgot the number one reason D4 is better:
No more annoying streamers to deal with because they all went to POE.

Diablo IV is ways better than any of the ARPGs ever made and will be made.
Why? Because of the unique innovation called “Boss Powers” :heart_eyes:

I woke up this morning (obviously) and jumped out of the bed. NO. I rolled out of bed and then I fell to the floor like wet pizza dough. My core muscles felt weak as hell but i managed to get up.

Mom already built [big hot cup of coffee]. Very Niché. I grapped the 500ml coffee cup but was not able to lift it. But hey mom left an old papyrus mini scroll next to the cup. Ofc written in ancient Windings. I hate it.

It said:
“Do the following things little honeybunybear (thats me) and you will feel great”

  • dodge 3 times through the coffe cup (WAT the hell?!)
  • Bebop your nose 1 time
  • pull cats tail and twist 720° (plz dont do this)
  • scream out loud the magic words WRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

I did all of this, only cheating with plush cat and now me stronk like SUPERMAN. Even much more STRONKER. Me can liftz 50000000000000000L cups nao.

I’m pretty sure it does… Now what I didn’t know is that that happens in PoE2… Pretty sure all death does is just restart the map with new mobs (annoying sure, but doable)

And you say D4 is not ?, ask those that beat Duriel 150 times to get a single drop lol

I never saw this, but then again am at act 3 lvl42, not “up there” yet. But can say for sure the journey feels better, feels meaningful… I know I killed what, about 40 bosses with my stupid staff ?, but hey it counts… Here you can’t feel any sense of completion

As opposed to forward, you count your levels backwards (T60 -7 for example :P)

Is that a valid goal to have though ?, beat the entire content on normal and then on cruel mode, you’re done… There’s no point in playing further, start an alt and you’re good to go :slight_smile:

Something that D4 not only does not have (incentive for playing ALTs) but they actively deter players from doing so

I guess indeed this is the strongest boss power one can have lol :slight_smile:
