I don’t get it. WT3 is 50 - 70 and WT4 is 70+. If farming in WT3 to unlock Capstone and move to WT3 you’re limited to Level 60 gear? Really? Am I missing something?
what the hell are you talking about?
The level requirement on items has absolutely no effect on the power of an item…
The level requirement cap is purely for gearing alts… so NOW, when you’re progressing through on your necro in WT4 at lvl 94, you find gear for lvl 80, instead of lvl 94. The Ipower is still the same range, regardless of level requirement, but you can give that loot to an alt just starting out in WT4, once they are lvl 80.
That’s just the level requirement, not the item power. They capped it so that we can share gear with our alts without having to be our mains level.
Interesting. I guess I didn’t notice that. I kept getting loot capped at 60 and I’m 74. Was super frustrating and made me say eff this and log off. I’ll try again and keep an eye on item level power vs level cap. Thanks!
I still don’t get what everyone else is saying, I’m having the same problem as you. I just started on WT4 and I’m STILL getting lvl 60 gear, and ONLY lvl 60 gear.
As far as I can tell all gear in the same level seems to have (roughly) the same item power. Torment is nearly impossible because all of my gear I got 12 levels ago, and the newer armor drops are NOT any better.
Item power determines the range of possibility on an item. Not item level. The higher the item power the greater the potential of an item. You still have to get lucky on rolls
