Usualy it’s possible to upgrade 3 pieces of a certain gem quality to 1 piece of higher quality.
F.e. 3 “crude gems” to 1 “chipped gem”.
Not so in Diablo 4 anymore…every gem quality is tied to “fragments”, means if I crafty myself a “chipped ruby” f.e. during leveling I can throw it away as soon as I get the next best quality.
Would be nice if the jeweler would have an option to upgrade 3 gems of lower quality to 1 gem of the next higher quality…Thank you.
This ENTIRE Gem Saga is like what happens when you try to have a Class on Critical Thinking, in the SpEd Room and no one is wearing a helmet. Instead of Adding an Inventory Tab, they created and coded a whole new system and mechanics and resource TAB… I mean, Potato, Onion, Same thing right?
Ok…so I turned my gems into fragments and have the gold needed and am at level 60 but the jeweler doesnt give an option for flawless gems. Just standard.
First of all nice necro from 7 months ago. Second of all they changed the rules with this latest patch. Normal at 51, Flawless at 71, and Royal at 91. You used to be able to craft them at lower levels, but now that’s not the case.
The act of posting simply to bump a thread is considered spamming. This also includes bumping old threads for no reason. Users who are found to be bumping posts will be subject to forum account suspension and post removal.
This post that you replied to is 7 months old. You can see at the top right of the original post it says “Oct '23”.
Also just above where you posted it says
7 months later
Meaning you found a thread that was 7 months old some how, and replied to it. We call that necroing a thread, or rather bringing it back from the dead, as the thread was pretty much dead until this point. No harm in making another post if you have questions though.
To be fair you’re also the first person to actually question this, most just make 1 post and ignore the thread after they’ve commented.
Sorry…didnt notice it was dead, Usually you makke a new post and people scream about there already being 10000 posts about it. It can go back to being dead. Thanks for the help.
We get plenty of duplicate posts for sure, especially when a new patch hits. Now if it’s a legit question, people are usually more willing to help answer it (not always of course). If you have anymore questions though, feel free to ask.
