Was it not clear last season? There should be no way, to brick an item.

Yes you still can. You have a limit on how many temper resets you can do. Though its much.much harder to do so i have bricked 2 items.
Now i simply dont have any Rawhide and cant do any Masterworking.
actually it is ok to brick items. it might hurt your feelings personally but in no way is it some consensus.

Your right. you should be able to pick up 1 piece of gear and never have to loot another item for that slot. In a loot pinata game … that sounds like fun to me

You can use scroll of restoration now though.
Bricking items is completely fine.
The whole tempering system is fairly bad, since it is a joke to have an itemization system where items drop with 2 affixes.
But the bricking chance is not a part of the issue.
