Blizzard adding more uniques is great! But what about some uniques needs real rework, so we could enjoy, few examples
One I don’t know why mother emrace ring is exists if there is no room for it in any build? Any other unique is better…
Other example, I just found out after finding few pieces of fist of fates with 0.1% crit chance and up to 1.0% out of 51.8% to apply random cc?
Like blizzard who really needs this garbage? the range is absolutely insane and its frustrating finally finding unique you wanted and its not just bad its not worth a unique status its like freaking blue gear?

Many of the reworked Uniques are really only useful for leveling or as placeholders until you find Mythics (still getting used to that term). With leveling being so fast now, we hardly get the chance to enjoy these Uniques. The intention behind these reworks was to make them build-defining, but in reality, some builds have ended up way stronger than others. They’ll need to rebalance things, but you know how it goes—they tend to either over-nerf or over-buff.
It sounds like this is your first ARPG. Most of them have many items not suitable for any current meta builds. That doesn’t mean its not good for future builds. Also, it can spark inspiration for other builds.
Tons of legendary rings are better than Mother’s Embrace, even bad ones. Uniques shouldn’t even have ranges in this game. It worked in earlier Diablos because the balance was overall better, at least in the first one. D2 had some wonky stuff I guess. Uniques in this game should just be what they are, and shouldn’t even be able to roll GA. Need to have regular gear still stand a chance against it, and the stronger the unique, the more tailored to a specific build or playstyle it should be. Generic uniques that can work for any build should only exist as a temporary filler piece that’s better than 90% of the legendaries for that slot until you find that perfect legendary or tailored unique for your build.
So between this suggestion and the ones who want to remove tempering, the comunity’s idea of a perfect game is a game where the best in slot item gets automatically added to your inventory when you create a character.
The purpose of Mother’s embrace is to be a high drop chance unique that helps people while leveling. Not all unique items are designed for end-game content.
I never use this item but most of my guildies use it while levelling every single season. Some of them use it long term. I get that YOU don’t but you’re not everybody.
Fists of Fate is a HIGH demand item this season. I’m not using it currently on any of my (so far) 3 characters this season but it is suggested in many builds for multiple classes.
Blizzard need to fix uniques with very bad ground affixes. Take Hellfire as an example, you get a burn that deals 10k on the ground, that would not even be good for endgame if it was 50k… And what is up with Fields of Crimson blood pool 2500 bleed damage, that is not even good in Helltide…
You assume a lot. I get flooded with uniques. The garbage ones are sold for hold immediately, they aren’t even good for testing. The middle ones are fine for testing, and you’ll get a decent one eventually. Just convert the other drops to gold, mats or a couple extra legendary rolls and only keep tge decent unique drop chance. Skips the bs, same odds of landing a good one.
I understand its fists of Fate ok, anyway why have item named unique with almost same stats as blue in the game?, so you collect more garbage and keep disappointment level up, it would be fine with 10-50 range but 1-50 I still cannot comprehend this! And neither having uniques just for leveling up…
Agreed , wanted to try these " reworked" gloves , 2 have dropped , both absolute garbage.
They have been garbage for a year , and continue to be , GJ Blizzard , way to make finding these trash gloves , even more trashy.
The chance of getting uniques with blue item stats feels really underwhelming, Why even have it if Blizzard knows its not usable and getting salvaged at first blacksmith… we have enough blue and yellows in game for salvage. My point is its Rng to get it, on top of that getting Ok stats, then Good stats and GA stats, why give us absolutely unusable items and call them Uniques? Like I said its ok if its just bad but not to the point of absolute trash…

I used it last season when I got it kinda early on, helped a lot with mana management for my Frozen Orb sorc. However, you are correct that it doesn’t end up as a bis ring for any current builds afaik.
I feel like if they wanted to make some uniques more appealing and competitive they could just put one stat on it that will make you interested like good boost to cooldown almost every build uses that or big lucky hit or some very good resource regen, there are a lot of ways to get it working, except if the stat will start with 1% its killing the game IMO…
