Why Blizzard resents rogue?

Rogue has been the weakest char for so long, but why is Blizzard still nerfing it? If you really hate it so much, please simply delete it. Thanks.

It hasn’t been the weakest mostly due to bugs.
Rogue has taken a lot of hits though without any meaningful buffs.

Rogues have actually been in a decent state since launch. Now they only got one broken build with the Tibault bug, but aside from that there hasn’t really been much that’s made it deal Billions of damage like the Barb. It’s been a solid steady reliable class honestly. Could they use some love? Sure, but I don’t feel they need a lot of love, just a peck on the cheek.

Well, to be fair, if you recall the Barb was relegated to zdps shout barb right after they nerfed WW and the Gohr gloves.

Only top players can “win” with the Rogue. No lazy gameplay for this class! Don’t worry, one of these seasons they will fix the Rogue. For season 4 they decided to fix Necromancers.

LOL… Trust me, gets worst if you decide to try melee and not use the Puncture+Twisting Blades meta. :rofl:

At least the ranged ones are getting potentially good stuff.

yeah, I don’t play a lot of rogue (I did barrage/deathtrap in season 1 and liked it a lot with barber) but haven’t touched it in a while. B tier would be for the better ones. Most builds will be C tier or worse.

Rogues need more than a peck. They have an Ultimate in Shadow Clone that does little to no damage, an Ultimate in Arrow Rain that requires so much investment for so little reward its never worth building for, 2 Paragon nodes that are severely gimped due to the removal of Core Skill Stat and Ultimate Skill Damage, some aspects that gotten overridden with new aspects like Mangler being useless due to Concussive, and then you have over 80% of Rogue’s Uniques prior to Season 4 being not worth using and not being addressed.

Even if a person thinks Rogue just needs a peck on the cheek adjustment, the class has several things that is defunct and/or offers little value to the player and build creativity. I.E. Trying to make a non-Combo Point Rogue.

Pfft… everyone knows that Necro is the weakest class and desperately needs a buff to Bonespear… :thinking:

I will probably still play rogue, but it doesn’t look great for us this time around.

I’m mainly annoyed with our skills just being junk. I should not be skipping ultimate ability trees every season because it is not viable, feels weird.

On the plus side it’s more skill points elsewhere :sweat_smile:
