D4 at launch 69.99 - 89.99 - 99.99
VoH at launch 39.99 - 59.99 ok this seems legit. but all the sudden, 89.99 at ultimate?
Let me guess about this price, “Hey folks remember when we launch D4 and let ultimate buyers start to play 1 week before the actual launch day? We are gonna do same thing at VoH launch and force you pay 89.99 which is almost same amount of original D4 ultimate! And we are gonna pretend the original 39.99 is cheap!”
It’s so obvious guys, they will use streamers around Oct 1st~2nd as ultimate buyers early access and make you guys all want to purchase 89.99 ultimate lovely. And yes I already bought ultimate in VoH as well. You win again Blizzard.

They put it at price targets they were sure they could hit metrics of players buying it. Lots of research goes into this. Its just 1 guy going eh 90$ seems gud.

Because they are a company based on a capitalist country trying to make money. Luckily the highest tier is optional. So if you don’t want to buy it you don’t have to.

Not me! I refuse to pre-order any game from any company, let alone for early access or cosmetics. Preordering should have gone away with the implementation of digital downloads.

a lot of the price is plat which you redeem in store. its more for ppl who like that stuff

Depends whether you want cosmetics + 3000 platinum. TBH… ultimate due to platinum gives more value than deluxe hence I went ultimate w/o hesitation. Ofc, if non of these attracts you, simply hold off or standard VoH.
Spirit borne will be the next VIP class, and it has elements of multiple classes as well as dexterity martial art element. VoH is a no brainer for players keen on SB class. Whether added end game is satisfactory is irrelevant.

Why ask a question that you already know the answer to? It’s priced like that because fools like you still buy it even though you know you are being ripped off. Thanks, don’t forget to polish your horse armor while you are at it. I’m sure it needs it after all these years.

Even if you preordered VoH you will always get the reminder to preorder it. Maybe if you follow the link it wont even say: you have already purchased VoH and lets you purchase VoH over and over again 
Because people will pay that. No, there is no early access. The expansion coincides with the season 6 launch and season 5 ends the same day.

and 89.99-99.99 has always been the standard price for collector editions from blizzard and most games in general.

the ultimate edition was 90 bucks right away.
its not like standard, or deluxe isnt available anymore.
noone forces you to pay anything, but if you want the cosmetics, i guess ultimate it is.
but really, kind of a cringey thread. sorry to see that some people purchase things they dont like, or want to support.
