Why are they considered Uniques when they are not unique.
They are just legendaries that cannot be modified.
Where are the unique affixes?
Every single Unique has a unique affix quite literally unique to that item, found nowhere else. Except for maybe Razorplate… but uhh… we don’t talk about Razorplate.
Huh? None have a unique affix. Post one with a unique affix that isnt a uber unqiue. Your talking about the aspect which doesnt make it unique its just a fancy lego that cant be modified.
Razorplate is not for the timid.

Some unique items have affixes that are not inherit to their gear slot. There’s a chest for sorceress that give you +glass cannon, or a wand to +teleport.
Because it’s unique how dumb they are. Not many other games have items this useless and dumb. Even in the highest tier. And then the ones that aren’t dumb, are impossible to get. That’s def a uniquely moronic experience if you ask… 90% of the people who play/played.
Uniques have been described as “super-charged” versions of Legendaries. They only drop at World Tier 3 and 4 difficulties currently. They are exceptionally rare, and are designed as “pinnacle items” for specific builds. Their affixes cannot be changed, and their aspects cannot be extracted. Uber Uniques also fall into this category but not even your great great grand children will ever see one.
Pretty much sums it up.
they are not dumb, and some of them are actually fun(ie oculus). Not to say a lot are pretty uninspired. But the whole itemisation system needs some tweaks and overhauls.
What else are we going to call them? Artifacts? Primal gear? Super Awesome Extraordinary Special Mythical piece of crap?

The first two are unique to the helm. Rare and Legendary can’t get those slots in a helm.
The third is unique to all items. Only Deathless Visage has it.

Btw I think uniques are cool, they got nice features, maybe they could be improved more to be more cool I guess.
They should all be like this or they shouldn’t be considered a unique.
