the hell are you talking about. many are playing druid and its amazing. and being in perma bear or werewolf form makes it even better
Would love to have a body scale tbh, cause even the npc druids are skinny as well
I usually try to emulate the body type for my characters as similar to mine as possible (yes, I know, it’s bullsh*t that many people do), in Diablo 4 the only thing I changed for the first time is that all characters are female.
And I would have also played the Druid but I don’t like that so much.
I don’t care about muscles but I would have preferred if Druid was thinner, like me.
That’s leftism for you. “artists” stopped making fantasy characters for you, they just want to fill checkboxes or simply shoehorn their own struggles/personal issues into the game.
Druid is not quite on the level of Levan. The sickest part with Levan is that he was actually only 90kg/ 200lb at one time in his grown up life and is now around 180kg, that’s pretty insane.
Sorry, but it’s you that are clueless.
Comparing strongmen to someone that lives a humble life in the wilderness is wrong on so many levels that I don’t know where to start.
Let’s leave it at that, friend.
I’m not your friend, don’t use condescending language with me.
The point is they have a strongman build. You’re being obtuse.
You are not my enemy either,
The point is that they shouldn’t be strongmen built because they do not lead that kind of life.
Go back 100s-1000s of years and you would find that the majority, nay 99% of people in the world were not fat because they had to do manual labor, they couldn’t just waltz down to their local supermarket and stock up on chocolate and chips.
Druid being “strongman built” makes no sense
You can’t pack on 10k + calories a day without eating very specific, specific in a way that is impossible to do if you live in the wilderness, hunting for a living, eating berries from bushes, fishing without having alternate food sources (calori dense food) availible.
It is impossible.
The whole reason humanity has a obesity problem nowadays is becasue it is so easy to get food and sweets from your supermarket coupled with people generally having a pretty good economic situation.
Good luck being a farmer in the 1200s and be fat, heck good luck being a farmer in the early 1900s and be fat.
People are fat now because of easy access of food and sweets, lack of physical activity and sitting too much in front of the TV/computer.
Would love if my druid didn’t look like he ate all the animals in the woods.
Everyone keeps saying Druids are obese, plural.
I started leveling my Druid and did the class quest and there is this skinny little dude telling me about the animal boons. So clearly not all Druids are obese.
Just you.
And every time I get on my horse all I can think is, “that poor horse”
Humble life above 100kg’s is anything but humble.
Hermits tend to be thin af due to low calorie intake.
Unless your druid has some health issues, it’s very unlikely that s/he can get that much obese only by eating a handful of leaves every now and then. They must be shoving hell a lot of meat down the pipe for that to happen.
Quite frankly it’s actually you who’s oblivious to obvious facts, not everyone else.
It’s so funny seeing these threads constantly. One thread was in agreement that Druid looks like a bad a## power lifter (I agree he looks great). Threads like this sh#t on him and call him obese (let’s be real, he’s not obese. He has weight along with muscle, far from unhealthy.)
Imho it can be logically sound explained why your Druid is obese or why he/she is not.
For example she could be a vegan and slim.
Or he could be chubby, because he always liked eating. There is also no real logical problem for him to get enough food in sanctuary. If my character would eat all deer he kills accidently hunting demons that would be sure enough to look like a moving mountain.
There might even be a Druid who loves demon flesh.
Druids are humans they are not all the same. Don´t be to narrow minded.
Also someone can be terminally ill while still looking like a super model at the moment.
Or you look ill but you are actually medically healthy.
So I think all this discussion about health and logic is just pointless. Real life should not matter in this discussion imho.
What matters I think is that we all have got different fantasies about how our chracters should look like.
And imho Blizzard is doing a terrible job serving those fantasies. Why not having a fat Necro or a super model or cute Druid?
They safe ressources this way and could make different gear more easily with only one body size for each class.
Characters are easier recognizable in PVP with one body shape for PVP.
In my oppinion this is just lazy and a mistake, esspecially, if you want to sell cosmetic stuff in an item shop.
The first game that impressed me with its character customization was Aion released in November 2008. You could make anything. Meme, ugly and very beautiful characters.
Now many people here seem to think that an ARPG does not need character customization at all. Fine that is your opinion.
And Blizzard did a fine job then, maybe 10/10 from you.
But I totally disagree.
And I am not willing to let Blizzard off the hook here. For 2023 I would give the Character builder a 3/10 at most, not more. For whatever reasons it is really bad.
And I can´t praise them just because there was none before in the Diablo series.
Long rant …
So they include race/gender(yep still exist, named differently for sensitive people)/skin color(along with skin problems such as vitiligo), but no actual BODY TYPE? I mean what the actual fakk? Ohh wait, I get it, we have body type already (mentioned above), blizzard just has a backwards logic about it.
Honestly, who wants to make a miserable character? Or something that reflects them and not what they actually want to be or look like in a game? Makes no sense to me. When you make a character, even if you don’t want to identify with it you want to make it look as good as it can get.
Do you know who will make characters look miserable? Trolls.
I just cannot imagine people with vitiligo would go like: “YES, finally I don’t have to look into the mirror to remind myself that I have an incurable skin problem”.
So kind of blizzard, isn’t it.
I don’t mind it being there, but the lack of option of being able to choose between thin/normal/obese body types, shows how little they actually care about what people really want.
Check out reply history. Report user.
Okay, I checked out your reply history and it seems you joined the forums 2 days ago, opened with calling someone a loser, followed in your next post by insulting someone by saying, “The guy thinks he’s an IT genius” and after this post, started a response with, " Why are you here?".
Yeah, probably you should be reported but (a) I cannot be bothered and (b) this type of history no doubt leads to plenty of other people reporting you.
Apparently you can be vegan and fat.

did you check out piorunz reply history?
Hes a troll.
I think it’s weird that body type is linked to class and not something independent and just part of the character builder like face and hair. Sure, it’d mean more armor models. A lot more. But…That’s why you make the big AAA bucks and charge the big AAA bucks.
