Why Am I Spawning Two Portals Away in Pitt?

Like… what? Can you not make us spawn like that, please? I should at the absolute bare minimum spawn in the area I died in if you’re not going to spawn me closer to the actual location. But to die to a boss, and not only do I not spawn in the boss area (just before the arena) but I spawn not only one area back, but two??? That’s crazy. I should not have to walk through the first and second area, going through 2 portals just to try the boss again.

Why are you like this, Blizzard?

This has happened to me several times. Mostly, when I do 80% monster kill in the first level and 20% kill in the second level. The Boss death spawn goes back to First Level. It sucks and is a waste of valuable time getting back to the boss kill. We should always spawn just outside the boss portal.

Out of a hundred pits, happened only once, its a minor bug, you’ll survive the 3 token loss.

Will you survive not posting for no reason? I don’t care if it only happened to you once… it happened. And it obviously happens to other people often enough as well.

You’re the type of guy that hits up a thread about a game’s poor graphical performance saying, “I don’t see an issue running the game on my RTXXX 5090 Ti+++ Ultra Mode Hardcore Sweaty… what’s all y’alls problem. Quit complaining.”

It is a bizarre design decision to respawn you on another map when you die to a boss. Especially since the boss arenas have an arrival area that’s more than adequate for a respawn area.

Having to reload extra arenas when this happens feels like an unnecessary waste of server resources.

this happens since launch, they probably are never going to fix it
