Why am I level 41 still wearing lvl 22 armor?

Were is all of the loot in this game? What little drops is at least ten levels below me.
Am I missing something? I don’t understand this, loot is the whole point of the game.

Made it to world tier 3 and at level 60 on a lightning sorceress and I’m not even kidding I’m still using the same build I started with.

I haven’t played the other characters so I’m not sure if their gear is equally as bad or if not enough dev time went into sorcerer but I still haven’t found any decent gear for lightning build. Not even kidding.

I’ve found 3 or 4 unique items as well at this point and they should basically be orange, nothing special about them.

They majorly flopped on this games progression/loot system.

Required level is meaningless, all that matters are item power and stats.

Well, you will find what you are looking for in later levels, around level 60-65. After that, there is little to no reason to continue. No more gear, just one stats here or there.
The game really ends at this point, sadly. I got to 73, but no more.

Loot and itemization in general are seriously flawed.
I havent felt “Oh wow a shiny” when they drop, cause there’s so much loot that drops all the freaking time.

now i just read that battlepass will require you to make a new season character. I’m out.

You don’t lose your current characters - the season servers are separate from the eternal one. It’s merely one option for playing.

Level appropriate loot starts dropping from tier 4.

Its not even just level, I’m like lvl 48 and only have like 2 legendary items, and the yellows I have Ive had for like 10 levels.

The problem is that NOTHING drops! The volume of loot is TINY! For a game centered on loot there doesn’t seem to be any! And what little dose drop seems to be useless for me.

I have a legendary pair of gloves that rolled +4 bonespear, at lvl 20 something. I am 73 now and still use those gloves cause I have not found better.

Yeah, this feels so backwards honestly.

Yes the “normal” item required is often -10 level under your current level but that didn’t mean anything as it’s Item Power that matter and that is based on your level which tier you collect.

an item 400-500 power will have the same power range that you are level 40 or 50 level.

As soon you enter the Sacred and Ancestral tier you’ll understand that. As soon you enter WT3 you have a chance to obtain a max power BiS sacred that will last until you enter WT4, same applied for Ancestral.

You get more boost from Paragon point than item. As my 71 barb the chance of obtaining better gear are slim as I have +790 or more in every slot.

Also in this game you didn’t chase for legendary, you chase max roll aspect to put on rare item. As soon you can enchant you could build legendary to fit your playstyle.

Item level doesn’t really matter in this game, so I wouldn’t get too hung up on it.

The only upgrades that matter are to sacred in WT3 and then ancestral in WT4. The rest is about getting good stat rolls and aspects on the gear you do have.

Because it was taken over by a core direction of WoW management and given the go ahead to “revitalize”. Instead they took a whole new direction, which feels like ilevel garbage - a system that’s flawed in its own right by just adding numbers and no new effects. Granted, there’s a lot you can manipulate between affixes and your skills with a bit of theory crafting - but it’s so awfully boring seeing the same ones drop.

The crafting system is abysmal that should have supported all of this. Had they added to it further and allowed multiple stat carries from some gear over to others, etc. and really gone into detail giving us the ability to farm up multiple pieces of drops to combine into our desired build - then yeah it might work. They didn’t though and thus we’re stuck with repetitious drops that we just sell or break down.

Fun fact : item level required translate to item level obtained for Sacred and Ancestral.

I like to check player the difference between their current level and obtain level item in WT3 and WT4.

You will get plenty of oranges in World III. and like me you will start hoarding until your bank is full of them to realize that most of them are just crap.

About Unique objects… I have 3 identical Necklaces, 2 identical bows, 2 identical daggers, and a ring. Nothing is unique if I get looting the same unique items.
The curiosity: at the higher level those items dropped the quality and stats became worst. It`s much better my unic dagger at level 58 than the one dropped today at level 65. :exploding_head: same goes for necklaces and bows. I´m just destroying the new ones.

Currently 800+ drop for me regularly, but that’s because I’m in T40+ with 810+ gear on each piece. 740-800 also drop regularly, but it’s seeming to gap a bit now. I have a feeling that progressing your ilevel forward does actually contribute to higher ilevel dropping - I haven’t researched it enough though.

You can wear Sacreds at Lv 40 or 43, when you find some just put those on it’s automatically better than your normal gear.

You can probably finish your capstone around Lv 45 (Lv 50 monsters) and then farm WT3 for gear, that’ll definitely help.

It never has so that would be a first. I keep seeing this being brought up though so I’m curious what game you guys came from that did this?

Yes they did, and in a supposed ARPG, the loot & progression is everything.
