Who's NOT gonna play the upcoming beta in may?

I’m just gonna check performance and that’s it.

i don’t feel like investing my time in something that’s gonna be erased.

I’m still torn. I don’t have a ton of interest in doing the exact same content ANOTHER time and not having it even be maintained. Like… I’m gonna do the starting zone again in a couple months and again a few weeks after that… doing it again now is less appealing. Although I’m not 100% sure. I might get excited for it and buy into the hype when its live.

Just wish they’d picked some different part of the game to show off. :frowning:

Harldy be an hour or 2 for me, play to 20 kill world boss and done, check how my system plays it and if I need any possible hardware upgrades.

I will be sipping on cocktails by the pool at Hayman Island, keeping an eye on how everyone else goes :cocktail::sweat_drops::turtle:

Welcome to seasons

While not erased, you probably won’t touch regular characters after the next season starts.

It’s 2 weeks before launch and I’ve already leveled all classes to 25 and cleared fractured peaks. I’d rather just play Legend of Zelda for the two weeks and go straight into the full game.

Might try getting that Horse Cosmetic, beating Ashava with a level 20 character, at least that wont be wiped, pretty sure we get that cosmetic at launch and keep it forever.

My boyfriend and I will probably skip it. We got our fill from both the betas and the new horse cosmetic they’re offering isn’t enough to entice us. If it was new parts of the game we might consider it but don’t really want to go through act 1 again until launch

I will probably skip it even though I would have a ton of fun. I feel running through Act I again isn’t really worth my time, and I can pick up enough information on the new balance from various youtube videos to gauge how to roll when the game starts.

I’m going to rush to 20 (takes a few hours at most if you know what you are doing.), kill the world boss for the cosmetic reward and then wait till release.

I would have plenty of fun playing more, but I don’t want to get too invested in a beta or burn myself out before the game is even released.

I am gonna go all in, new RIG and all… want to stretch it’s legs! Also want to check out a WW barb… doing it right this time and hoping it will be alright unlike the last beta where I didn’t have a clue of what I was doing :beers:

100% going to skip.

  1. i know im going to play game on launch so i dont need to test it/demo it
  2. i already got the puppy-pack
  3. the horse mount looks weird / dont care
  4. all the effort is wasted bc its going to be erased
  5. i want to save the first time experience for launch on my actual character (minus the stuff i did to unlock the puppy-pack)

Tbh pretty disappointed that this was their “big reveal”. Like, not about adding a new class or revealing a new feature that they were polishing off… etc.

I’m just interested in seeing how performance is if its improved or not. If they had gone the other direction and given us an extra 5 levels instead of taking 5 levels away I think would have been more enticing.

I was hoping they’d throw is in a different zone and give us level 30-40 characters with no story quests and have us do like a mid-level stress test with, say, two subzones and a dozen dungeons or something. Give us something new to play around with.

I really didnt want them to announce another beta so im a bit sad about not having another kind of surprise.
I dont think ill enter beta this time. I tested it plenty and i just feel that i dont need to replay everything just to play again 2-3 weeks later.
Hope you guys have a lots of fun!

I am going to slam the servers.

I played only necro, sorc and rogue so now I can try out druid and barbarian so yeah I am gonna slam those servers.

I am very eager to play again, it will split the month in half perfectly well until official launch.

There are classes I have not tried yet and I want the exclusive mount.

I will just check if I still have frame drops on my setup 4k@60Hz high textures. I had a lot last time, even to 40 FPS, on quite powerfull PC (i7v8 GTX1080 OC).

Also will check how Force Move + Interact feels to play on a keyboard.

IDC at all about any MMO elements so I’m not going to fight any World Bosses with random players

Defo planning on helping slam the servers - still checking more things out prior to launch. And hoping: that the rubber-banding issues have been solved or diminished and that the network disconnects in the middle of dungeon boss fights I experienced are gone.
