Whos loving the season?!

Just putting it out there against this tide of negativity. I havent enjoyed an ARPG this much since my first play through of D2.

Granted I am playing a 57 rogue in S1 and i have a 79 eternal druid but boy these density changes are great! I am absolutely slaying and it feels sooo good.

I think this is a return to form for blizzard, their best release since WoW. IMO:

-Gamers and people in general are more synical these days fueled by social media drama mongers
-Blizzard has to overcome lingering resentment from a bad previous decade (I am no blind fanboy, i criticized them heavily for their blunders).
-It is very different from D2 so the people who like that are resistant.

In the words of Q:
“Fellow gamers” dont kill my vibe

It’s ok, not great, not awesome, could it be better? Sure, but I don’t agree with the extreme outrage.

Is it buggy, yea, are quests buggy? Yes.

Does it ruin the game for me? Nope.

Do I hate time metrics? I absolutely hate time metrics. This is more of a paranonia thing for me, I can’t really prove this aside the horse and certain parts of dungeons.

Nope, not enjoying it very much… but used my BP I got with my game, so gonna finish that + the journey then it’s game over.

It’s very awsome tho.

Necromancer gets 1 free ability slot since the debuff is now auto from heart, don’t even have to put it on bard.

(+) another heart that auto-uses tendrils and raise skeleton… so you never have to manually do these things.

Just sit in blood mist all day and watch things explode around you

Just my take, I did enjoy necro to about 58 then switch to thorn barb.

They haven’t even put in the density changes yet…

You are aware that the density changes arent implemented yet, right?

My personal feedback about the season would be:
Its okayish, to some degree its fun.
Putting RNG goals in the Season Journey (Wrathful Invoker) was the worst move possible. How can they enforce RNG objectives on anyone, where no1 can really influence the outcome…

For me I think they have a good core foundation to start with and build upon, it’ll just take time.

I’m enjoying Season 1 a lot simply because I am enjoying Necromancer a lot. Using a 0 basic or core build and it plays a lot like Fishymancer from D2 so I’m really enjoying the game right now.

Looking forward to the minion changes in the patch that are upcoming l. Anything to help my skeletons live from the AoE will be welcome.

Just so you know, your 30 previous posts are available to read. I failed to find the criticism you mentioned - maybe I missed it between all the “glory to D4” posts.

TLDR: Blind fanboi claims he isn’t blind fanboi but fails to produce the receipts.

Yes, I can’t wait for more monsters to explode on Tuesday

The Season foundation itself is fine. It’s the core game that needs a lot more work lol
They just messed up the ashes level requirements by a lot (probably being scared of p2w call outs) and whoever thinks the overall level requirements are fine, should think about the fact that 8 or 9 out of 20 ashes are unlocked from 89-100 lol
Season Journey itself has a decent progression through the chapters, but RNG shouldnt ever be a part of it.

Oh shnitzle haha it must just be because im moving faster as a rogue i perceived it that way lmao

I got my wrathful invoker after 4 tries

I like the idea of lowering the level range for it or at least bumping the exp from 1-50 a little quicker.

Well, good for you on the Invoker. Will reduce the pain you feel at some point, if you plan to do 100% Season Journey completion.

No i mean i criticized them for d3, bad wow expansions, wc3 reforged, immortal etc and i just didnt like their direction. I had kind of given up until d4 ensnared me again.

Now we just need WC4 with a powerful map editor (with console compatability as i no longer have a pc xD) and they will reclaim the crown.

no i am not liking it. it is unimaginative and lazy. there no real change to anything that i have seen other than the damage we take. if this is all seasons have to offer they will be dead by season 3. this should not be a live service game its not good enough. there should be an off line mode because every one plays alone. sure there are a few that dont but d2 was like that.
i seriously hope no one pays for a season pass because it not worth it. never buy any thing from there shop. why would you its not like any one looks at how you look no one cares not even your best friend. devs are full of bs

I personally would appreciate more content for the lvl 80-100 area, like adding WT5 and another equipment type after ancestral to fill the current gap, cause at the moment its pretty much 60-100 and past 80 people barely find the motivation to keep going, unless they have personal goals.
The exp curve on lower lvls is totally fine in my opinion.

Na idc really, just want to unlock all the rewards, do you need to 100% the journey to unlock everything? Is there a bonus reward?

The things you can unlock in the Season are:
Full season pass for cosmetics.
Season journey basic chapter completion for the Title and Scroll of Amnesia in Chapter 7 annnnnd:
