no freezing wake no sorc, this is the new meta in open world. Ppl just don’t understand this point and kept arguing on the weakness of sorc, proven to be OP, it can decimate those trash.

I’d like to express my gratitude to the devs actually, freezing wake is my favorite spell of all and they actually took the courage to increase its damage by a whole 50%. Well done to the devs team, it’s only been almost a month, who knows maybe in a year’s time, the mount is gonna deal 10million damage in upcoming patches.

you should seriously try out freezing wake tho, it’s got 50% increment in dps boost. So powerful to the point that it can kill all the mobs in the open world now.

lots of bad info rolling around, I mean most people are not aware of the non phys bonus, and still use life gems, not using icefall board etc.
For group play, you have to have the extra layers of shields, the extra DR, split your gems between DR when CC and DR from DoTs.

I’ve taken down groups of trash mobs just riding through them with crackling energy, pre- CE buff. Does this also mean that sorc is as viable as other classes in high level NM Dungeons?

Unfortunately, to answer that question, I’d have to say that sorcs are meant to play in the open world, helltide etc… but not high tier NMs that is why freezing wake got buffed by 50% I will dedicate my life to playing sorc in open world content.
What shields? Icefall can only stack up to 8k barrier and only last for 5 seconds. There are no shields . By the time the mobs unfreeze, Icefall’s duration has been long gone.

Sorc is the best class in D4 becuz we can dismount with a cool damaging skill which was buffed even further Anyone would love to debate on this?

You just have to kite uber lilith into a helltide and boom problem solved. Freezing wake fought Chuck Norris once and it was a tie!!!

Unfortunately, it doesn’t even apply vuln so your damage is still bad on the enemies after that 
I’m not really sure how this is OP? Once you get to 100 on your class and your spec’d correctly in paragon you will be doing the same thing. At level 100, Helltides are easy AF.
