Was already wavering on the extra time needed to progress this season but then I started levelling my glyphs! “What’s this success rate garbage” I thought. Started at 100%…where it should be, but soon went to 70 and lower and lower, until I got to 40% and realised I had wasted my time doing a pit for nothing when I failed all the success rolls that run. So I’m off to the next game, won’t be back unless this garbage is removed!

i mean cmon…all my glyphs are lvl46 and i don’t even play in t4…pick a proper build and go farm those 55 pit levels, they are easy as cake.

Technically you don’t have to do the rng, you can just push higher to get 100% (or even x2 upgrade)

Yep, It is the same system used in D3 that was used to upgrade legendary gems.
You can go higher Pit tiers for 100% chance upgrade.
Thanks for this info, not having played D3 beyond the storyline I wasn’t aware of the mechanic and chose to run pit at a lower level for a faster run.

If you run the very higher Pit tier, not only 100% chance but also triple glyph leveling.
Year later and this design feels like stepping into a tar pit and never coming out… I dont want to have to grind the pit when it only gives me 15 percent chance to upgrade my glyph . I failed all three today. Twice. Thats not chance thats just dumb. The system on d3 was never this egregious. The difference in your build with a gem wasnt that big of a jump in comparison to what some glyphs can do. Now in season 8 you get next to no gear for running a pit with a non meta build.
Thats the other problem with some of yall in the comment…get a better build?! Wtf is wrong with you, every build should be viable enough to complete all content other than t4. The jump from t2 to t3 now is crazy. And im getting beat by echo of lilth with the same build i beat her in season 1 . So they made my character weaker and boosted her strength to compete with try hard streamers who keep ruining the game.
make a t6 and let that be for min max , ultra try hards.
to lock seasonal progression behind t3 and t4 levels to make t3 an t4 that much more difficult to even enter.
