I completed gather my whispers, I returned to the raven tree in Cerrigar. The icon on the map and tree was present, indicating I had whispers to turn in. I clicked on the tree and was presented with the 3 options. One pants, one chest and one ring. I couldn’t remember which I needed more so I clicked out of the options to look at my gear. When I did this the indicator on the tree was no longer present and I did not have a cache in my inventory. Effectively losing my whisper cache because I rechecked which option was most valuable to me.
“Whisper bug” sounds like a tiny messenger at Hogwarts.
