Which weapon do you attack with?

I boosted a Barb and I’ve never played this class before. I noticed I have four weapons and I can pick a specialization. My two main hand weapons the boost gave me, one is a 2h Sword and the other is a 2h Mace, then you pick a specialization. Just wondering which weapon you attack with? Do you attack with the specialized option? If you choose 2H Mace spec should you have both right and left hand have 2h Mace?

I just want to avoid build guides this season. I don’t like how all the guides give bugged out builds and I’m probably not going to make it to Torment IV.

You assign weapons to your skills. By default it uses auto, which chooses whatever has the highest weapon damage. However due to skills, synergies, paragon, multipliers, that doesn’t always mean it’s the best weapon to use.

As far as Weapon Expertise most go with Two Handed Axe since it gives you a 10x multiplier and it’s super easy to always have enemies Vulnerable.
