I hope they leave like it is, and use the data they get to make the nerfs/buffs prior to season 1. :beers:

I’d really appreciate it if they wait a bit to see how Barbs will do after the last nerfs.

Not that I think that they went too far with them, but I feel like any further nerfs would heavily affect the already rather poor mid- and early game performance.

With all the “wanna kill ashava? Get a rogue” from the last beta i wouldnt be surprised if rogues get hit hard when the datamined stuff comes live.

Rogues will probably get more cooldown nerfs and another nerf to twisting blades. Worldboss soloing should not be possible.

Hmmmm, hard to say, maybe we will see some buffs instead; but i strongly believe that we will see many changes before season 1 start

I don’t think it will matter. The necro hotfix has shown that they understand when they have f’d up and need to quickly reverse a change to some extent.

How it even got past testing IDK though

simple really, people r giving feedback base on a lvl 20 - 25 max beta not the entire. how can you have anything concrete with vast majority of test and feedback comes from lvl 25 max. specially some class will simply fair better later game and skill that r op in early 20s will simply be not usable late game when u fully synergized. now if I have an op build I will never share it with public, this game is much more complicated then d3. the dev just watch top streamer and see wow they kill this boss monster at lvl 25 soo easily with that skill its gonna be the same toward end game, must nerf. this apply to sorc hydra and barb nerf.

They’re going to make Druids fatter to appease all the complainers. A special body slider will be added for Druids…it goes from:

  • STRONGMAN------------------------>THUNDER THIGHS PLANET SHAKER

WOO!!! LET’S GOOO!!! :sunglasses:

Druid might get hit.

Rogue Twisting Blades and Barb WW are problematic. CDR is just too good to ignore and most of rogue spenders are meh. Flurry is just sad. Barb it’s more about the Fury efficiency. HoTA is expensive and Upheaval got nerfed where somehow HoTA is a better option though it still wasn’t great to begin with. Rend is amazing on bosses but sad clearing. If it was 360 AoE is would be nice.

I’m not sure why they buffed Bone Spear then nerfed other skills besides the obvious Corpse explosion which dominated any Necro build. Bone Spear was already good. In the first two Betas Necro was viable with all 3 types.

Didn’t get back to messing with Sorc.

Youtubers calling for nerfs to a class based on level 25 characters then having the qalls to unironically say you cant judge a game/balance based on a limited beta is the height of hypocritical clownishness. The craziest thing is Blizzard actually went along with it, completely destroying Necromancer and build diversity. My guess is on launch day Blizzard will probably nerf Necromancer/Sorcerer, because reasons, not good ones or correct ones just reasons.

Nothing but hyperbole about necromancers, they are not destroyed. Minions is not everything.

Luckily I’ve made all of my builds based on things the general populace thinks suck.

They aren’t destroyed except if you want to PVP. Then, I think they are. You can’t focus target with Necro minions, and Necro’s have the worst/slowest movement of all the classes.

I’m fairly certain that the patch the maxroll people played is the patch we are going to get on day one. It would be fairly pointless to have them dissect the game like that and give us guides just to turn that over on its back on day one – though, that would be really funny. I would say it’s impossible that we are getting something different than what the maxroll people got.

You use blood, bone or darkness for pvp. Plenty of choices. You wouldnt use minions there.

I don’t expect any major changes except those identified from the server slam that needed fixing in combination with internal beta testing. At this point, seems better to wait and see what the players come up with. The balance appears to be pretty reasonable for a launch based on what I’ve heard unlike the march open betas.

Still, they have lack of speed/mobility, and lack of shields/defensives.

Besides, I just don’t see the appeal in playing a Necromancer without minions. They are the defining part of the class, and without them I’d rather just play something else.

If people want Blizzard to stop making knee-jerk balance changes, then people should stop giving knee-jerk feedback about game balance.

Iirc there were literally posts whining about game balance and class balance within an hour or two of the original early beta going live(along with a bunch of posts whining about queues and disconnects which is actually understandable). People need to give the game time to settle and actually think carefully before posting feedback without grossly exaggerating.

Raxx stated it was still only .9xxxx

He seems inclined to think there will be changes.
