Which Class and Build for Season 6

Hey guys,

Which Class and Build you’re doing for Season 6?

I will stick to my Barb
for S5 it was bash and Deathblow
for S6 probably something relating to bleed/thornes
maybe bleed bash. but also Double Swing DD/Earthquake

About yourself?

I resonate the most with WW BARB, as we both identify as an “Attack Helicopter”.
So I will be setting lock on that.
I would also play “Sorc”, but they are so weak since D3’s Xpack D4 came out.

Normally id go RF Rogue but this time im going to play around on Spiritborn. With the new content and experimenting with the new class, maybe ill play longer than a month.

Well, Druid has a new core skill to play with. Suspect it will slide right into the old landslide build.

That new Drood skill is like droppin EMPs, so I might check it out, wearing shades OC.

I got 5 builds for you:

  1. Sorcborn
  2. Barborn
  3. Necborn
  4. Druborn
  5. Rogborn

Victimize Rogue to swap among Heartseeker, Twisting Blade and Spin to Win.

That’s true. Spiriborn with runewords.

Spiritborn is prob going to be completely broken so I’m going to play that before it get nerfed into the ground

The new spirit-thing aka not-a-monk class

You have to pay for being able to play it so it will be op af, not even a single chance for it not being the steamroller of S6

I have a Spiritborn build that plays like Combo Point Rogue and a Spiritborn build that plays like Andy Barrage Rogue. Loving the Rogue aspects of Spiritborn so will be playing that.

Necro minion, because im a masochist…

Jungle Monk with Centipede and Gorilla. Not sure which two mercenaries yet.

I almost always start with Barb but this time I’m going with the Dancing Victim Shadow Rogue. I started playing this this day 1 of the PRT and it was a lot of fun.

Note: this was before ‘streamers’ caught wind and some acting like they single-handedly invented victimize. hah. but that’s cool. :upside_down_face:

Sorc, depends on what type of unique or legendary powers I find, will determine my build.

Personally I hope to find good fire-ball gear.

Im thinking some Necro build built around Blood Wave and reducing Ultimate Cooldown.
CDR Reapers
Flickerstep
I dunno … prayers? Thats my plan!

Wild to me that people stick to one class in a game literally meant for experimentation.

I will play Spirtborn to start, eventually run one build for each class with a focus on the new skills.

This is the way.

the devs are part of that because of “meta” and ofc poor class balance.

To a certain extent, yes.

But each class does have more than a single viable build for endgame content:

Rogue with a ton; Barb with WW, Bash, Flay and Death Blow; Necro with Blood Surge, Bone Spirit and, to a certain extent, both Blood Lance and Bone Spear; Sorc with everything under the sun; Druid with multiple variations of Landslide, Fleshrender, not to mention full companions isn’t a joke.

Meta is definitely a thing, but there are many quality builds that the louder voices within these forums choose to ignore.

if you want to roll “high-end endgame” you will be playing the set OP class. IE “meta”
and the set OP gear etc etc.
sure you can be like myself and others with “home brew” builds. but you do this after you “beat the game” with the set meta. be it dev made or streamer made.
this is where we are at in D4.
