Ok so I keep seeing all these 3 and sometimes 4 ga gear people keep posting but in the year that I have played I have only ever had one 2ga and it was useless. I can do pit 80 and NMD 100 and constantly running helltide. where are they dropping from. Even from the 30 plus torm duriel runs, ive had never anything over 1GA. is it just a luck thing or am in the wrong places?
its not really about where, its about high quantity and time spent. So helltide/tormented bosses and infernal hordes is where they are getting these GA items.

care about filling your bags with legendaries as fast as possible, and do this as long as possible. That is ultimataely how you get GAs. However I highly recommend infernal hordes due to the big chest always dropping a few.
Also never do the uber bosses on anything other then tormented, the number of items per summoning mats used is hugely better, along with roughly a 7.5% chance at an uber unique on each kill.
The 60 chests are nice. Goblin bags this week. Pit
Kill maiden for 40 min to get 2k+ cincers. Collect all chest on helltide. The 60 chests on IH, tormented bosses also may drop some good ones. But it is usually like 1:10000 or worse. And then the enchanting and masterworking crap begins… 
And then it all begins again…
