We’re not in PoE here, we don’t do that here ok? Bliz already proved that going to 3rd party sites to contact shady cn lv1 characters to buy duped stuff that just vanishes after trade is the correct way to go, no need for auction house, everything is already working perfectly as intended

Too bad with a server sided auction house duped items would be checked and removed even BEFORE being listed and sold, the first step to get rid of scammers is to get rid of direct player to player trading
Auction house bringing in more duping is total nonsense, if those items are forced to pass through an ingame selling process spotting dupes is gonna be 10 times easier and faster. Disabling direct trading between players would also eliminate or, at least, make it way harder to buy items and gold for real money too
Long story short there are only positives coming from an ingame AH

Only a matter of time before they bring the framework of the AU house over to D4 from DI. One of the primary systems in DI that came over to D4 at the inception was the Aspect System.
That dude triggered me. I don´t mind if someone is against AH. But saying no AH bcs we would get dupes… in game where we are already swiming in dupes is beyond anything.

We need auction house and BTW about the DUPE thing…Me and like 3 good friend family we have bought hundreds of BILLION gold gear on diablo trade and never got scam or something…
They added one to Poe last league to test it for poe 2. Its fantasic,mostly mats and common trade items but what a Qol thing that was

If you were on these forums during the early days of D3 you would remember “everybody” was hating on the Auction Houses. That’s “HATE”. People who were not there just don’t know any better. It would not make gear easier to find, it would not make the game more fun, it would just give the people who make money selling gold and gear more money. Most people would not be able to afford the gear.
Well I can’t see a problem with Mats and common items in a AH. This game does not have much of that. High end gear well that’s another story,trading those item leads to rmt and inflated prices of gear.
Blizz doesn’t really know how to control that,I don’t think they can unless they have in game Ah with capped prices.
dude i always repeat it… WHY NO AH IF ANYWAY 50% of player base and soon trust me a LOT more are already on many third party site for trade and buy gear???

Sorry I don’t think so. Maybe 50% of the people crying about an AH that will never happen. The developers have said: “there are no plans for an AH”. Why? Why do they say that?
We already have that in D4 tho. So… what would be the difference?

Why is this community so hung up on the abomination that was the real money auction house that they fail to see how an ingame trading market with ingame currency would be beneficial for the game?
