I heard Helltide mystery chests are pretty good but it’s pretty unreliable to farm since it’s not available all the time. I did around 10 level 6 nightmare dungeons and got two uniques from that (only one is usable tho, the other was for Fireball lmao).
I would love to do harder nightmare dungeons but 6 is the highest I can do with my current gear, after that it takes ages to kill anything and I get practically one-shot by every regular elite.
I also did Whispers, legion events and world bosses but I didn’t get anything useful from either of these so they’re probably not worth doing at all.
So, where did you get most of your unique items from? Did you just keep running nightmare dungeons and got lucky or is there a trick for it?
I never ever seen Unique drop from mysterious chests.
Its RNG i have found 4 unique staffs in T3 over the last 2 days. One helltied other in normal dungons
I got all my uniques through nightmare dungeons and maybe one from a normal dungeon.
You shouldn’t need uniques to get at least into 30-40 Nightmare dungeon so might want to work on your build and which stats you are prioritizing.
is mysterious only good for mats then and you get uniques from the specific chests? because I definitely saw people getting uniques from helltides
I found 2 uniques in a row in a random T3 dungeon while farming aspects lol. Other were random drops, but I guess still from dungeons.
21+ tier nightmare dungeons.
currently playing Arc Lash sorc with Charged Bolts, Frost Nova, Flame Shield and Ice Shield since my one unique has a chance to make frozen enemies explode into more Frost Novas. Had pretty good success with the build honestly, is there a better build for sorcerer tho? I tried Ice Shards instead of Charged Bolts and wasn’t really impressed by it
Don’t know enough about sorc builds but most issues usually revolve around the gear.
Make sure you have enough effective health by getting as much armor as possible and whatever layer of health you can get, whether that be straight max health or constant barrier.
Should always put flawless skulls in your neck and rings sockets, every other gems are completely worthless in those slots.
The 25-50% armor when dealing damage aspect is probably the best defensive aspect there is, especially on a 50% roll.
Upgrade your armor, if you’re using low item level armor, you’re gonna have a bad time, even if it means less optimized secondary stats.
I mean it’s possible, just personal experience, which given Unique’s rarity is incredibly small sample. Often I can go hours (or rather levels and levels) without single unique drop, then get two in one nightmare dungeon. Just saying personally never got one in helltide (and I am getting 4 mysterious chests when possible) as far as I can remember but it’s good to hear ppl are getting them.

I got 2 Sacred Uniques from the same chest in a dungeon on World Tier 3 (wasn’t even a Nightmare dungeon).

I’ve found at least 10 - only a couple of duplicates. I’m actually running Frostburns and the Frost Nova pants on my sorc. I’m crossing my fingers for a Shako lol.

i’m using two as frostsorc. have a couple for firesorc in my stash and got that Unique 2h Staff at least 7-8 times.
Is there a catalogue on any of the websites that lists what mobs drop what kinds of items?

my stuff is pretty nice stat-wise, I only get dropped worse stuff and my legendary aspects are pretty good and defensive too, I almost have 100% barrier/immunity uptime. My damage is just mainly lacking for some reason even tho I have a few damage up aspects too (66% more damage to frozen/stunned enemies is cracked on Sorc). I’ll probably play around with my build a bit more
I find alot of uniques running nm dungeons. I’d say maybe 1-2 per hour.
