Didn’t watch the live stream for the expansion and was hoping to read the patch notes which are usually available right at the end but only found those:
3.0.1 Build #71566 (All Platforms)—April 27, 2026
With so many changes coming with the expansion, would be nice to have a bit of info to help decide which build to start the season with.
They said on the stream there are too many changes to list in patch notes.
So, no patch notes at all?
All changes must be documented. All that was needed was to at least provide a summary. Just used AI to do the job if it is too complicated.
Or you could just relax and see the changes in the game tomorrow.
Only the patch notes for version 3.0.0 have been published, so I assume that when the game is released they will publish version 3.0.1.
But it’s just a theory.
I also think they rushed development to finish on time, and writing patch notes takes time, so maybe they sacrificed it.
I am relaxed and won’t even start before next week-end. I am just surprised. So many change coming with the expansion and no information at all is given. That’s unusual.
Something tells me not all changes can be made public, so leaving it to the AI is a bad idea.
AI Summary can be reviewed and filtered if needed. Requires a bit of work though.
Exactly… wouldn’t it be better to dedicate that work to making the list?
Yes, I know the amount of work may be different, but it’s not always less work with AI.
The problem with using AI is they’d have to plgive it access to their internal documents and I’m sure there are all sorts of things in those they don’t want to risk getting leaked.
I’m sure there will be some patch notes for whatever they need to hot fix tomorrow.
We’ll find out approximately 24 hours from now. Or we won’t if the servers eat crap.
But the haters and forum trolls say that this is a dead game that no one plays.
