PST wise we still have 14 hours until the day is over. I’d say they’ll be up probably within the next 5 hours though.

its a game developed in the US. why wouldnt stuff like patch notes and streams be based around US timezones?

its hilarious when I see people like you scream about US times for games when you are the type of person who yell at US people for screaming about JP or EU timezones.

Blizzard is a US company. If I was playing a game from Germany I wouldnt expect them to cater to my location. Its about releasing the information to everyone at the same time.

Or maybe when they say, “tomorrow”, they mean tomorrow at their offices. It’s 10am there.

so was the stream yesterday at 10am for u aswell ? like how does a normal person even watch that, at a normal day of the week i d assume people are working ?

Blizzard has always operated under the PST time line, they are based in California which is on the West Coast of the US. Blizzard Entertainment was founded on February 8, 1991, Irvine, CA. Since it’s conception any time they’ve planned a release it’s always said “PST”. This clearly must be your first Blizzard game, as such consider yourself educated.

so the streams (and the last few updates) are timed to cater more to eu timing and the patch notes for us ? sounds stupid

So they’re a company just like any other that typically works a 9-5 job. Granted the working conditions over at blizzard are pretty bad, overtime, horrible deadlines, terrible management practices, etc. but regardless the live stream/campfires are set during their work hours because they are on the clock. They aren’t going to release a live stream/campfire at 5-6 PM PST because the majority of people will be home and able to watch it. They’re already driving home at that point in time, screw that noise, I don’t blame them.

They are all handled during normal work hours for the people whose job it is to provide them. That seems entirely reasonable to me, and I don’t really care if I have to wait a few extra hours for some content I’m interested in?

It’s not a maintenance notice. The real mistake they did is saying that patch notes are coming, period.
