I decided to try this event, and I didn’t see a goblin for the half hour that I played. It’s very disappointing. I don’t like the end game with mythics, so I had stopped playing, but I was looking forward to this event. Well, it’s back to POE2 for me. WTF is this event?

What loot? All of it was worthless. I just wanted to kill some Goblins.
Killed about 50 of them myself on the first day in the zones of Nahantu. Not inside helltides mind you, as helltides seemed to be the worst place to find them. For me anyway.
A penguin debates whether a plane ticket to Nebraska is truly necessary.

Same. Quit after a half hour. I was going to play for the event, but this really isn’t an event.
That’s where I went. I also tried a NM dungeon. I’m not going to mindlessly wander the overworld.
Don’t farm Dungeons or Helltide. Farm regular Overworld. Especially Nahantu if you have the Expansion. Use your mount and zoom around from one goblin to the next. Each one goblin will spawn a second. Take greed shrines if you find them and kill large mobs/elites to spawn more goblins. Once you think you’ve covered most of a zone move on to the next. By the time you circle back around all areas will be reset with fresh goblins.
A tip: Only pick up Ancestrals, Prisms, and Boss Mats. Not only to speed things up and reduce clutter, but because it also leaves you markers on your map cause of the legendaries so you’ll know where you’ve already farmed.
For someone that only plays D4 so that they can complain on the forums makes one wonder why you even bother playing in the first place when you are only playing so you have an excuse to complain about something and no other reason

i havent updated my diablo 4 in ages so i thought what the heck, i loaded it up, did a big update i think it was 52g update and looked around for 5 minutes didnt see a goblin so i logged out, i did look at all my gears that were nerf’d down to 520 or 540s, i just logged out and didnt even do much after that.
what a disappointment, but i only bought the $100 ULTIMATE edition and not the voh xpac so i guess i deserve to not have fun

If I don’t like something I don’t do it again, I don’t keep doing the same thing and expect a different outcome
It’s like me putting my hand in a fire and complaining that it hurt and then later on put my hand in the fire again and wondering why my hand is still getting hurt

This is only to drive a metric or two that shows the new region and class are successful and pad their year end bonus. As soon as I saw “Nahantu is popular” in the buff icon mouseover it told me all I needed to know. Add to this the abysmal spawn rates and it is obvious. “Players are spending most of their time in Nahantu!!!”. LOL
Follow the $$$. It is all about making themselves look good and short-term profit. Players are on the bottom of the list if they are on it at all.

It’s too late. I’m done for the season. I already was, but I thought killing some goblins would be fun.
Unless the ancestral has 4, I don’t want it. I hate farming bosses and not doing that, rofl.
It’s really crappy to have a goblin event with no goblins. It legitimately makes no sense to me. I have good things to say about D4 but not about this event, the end game, or the expansion.

I ran around Nahantu for ONE HOUR and had… ONE GOBLIN. ONE Stinking goblin… WTF>>>>>>>> I am extremely pissed. Been playing and defending Diablo since 1996 Diablo 1. But for whatever reason, this made me so angry. I can’t defend this at all. WTF there should be a goblin every 30 seconds… MAKE IT FUN. DROP LOOT, GO NUTS, ITS A HOLIDAY EVENT!. ONE FREAKING GOBLIN IN ONE HOUR where is says ‘A surge’… beyond pathetic, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER… MAKE THE EVENT AN EVENT AND MAKE IT FUN

exactly, This made me extremely angry… 1000’s of hours in D1-4… this event just broke me… ONE hour running around I had ONE goblin… ONE!!! WTF… feels like LESS than normal, where it is supposed to be a ‘Surge’ wtf… should be a goblin every 30 seconds… MAKE IT FUN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD… so freaking pissed about this…

I like the game, but I don’t like the end game or the event. I stopped after getting bored with farming bosses. I think it’s dumb, so that was my end to this season. The event sucks, which is why I’m not playing it. I will be playing S7 until I reach end game. I just don’t like mindlessly grinding the same bosses.
I do. It’s to check out events and roll a new character in a season. Is that blasphemous?
