I assume they are still licking their wounds. They lost mathael - doubtful that another aspect of wisdom reformed yet i guess. Also we dont know whats with tyrael - is he still angelic,? does he age? es is really a “human”, or just an angel stripped of a lot of his powers? does he still represent justice? would another archangel of justice form in the crystal arc while tyrael is “alive”?
Especially the tyrael part is something that they carefully need to pay attention to when they want to evolve the story.

The Crystal Arch is the heart of the High Heavens, said to be where all angels are born and where their power originates.
So yeah, they are still recovering.

yea, also true. Can they actually reform right now? Not unlikely that this might not be the case currently. I dont see them risking their existence while they are low on power.

Mortal, he took upon the aspect of wisdom.
In IV, there are almost zero info about him ,except Horadric Vault I think. He lived there with Lorath,Donan and Elias and one day he left fearing something.
Pretty sure writers are planning something with him and there will be comeback of this iconic character

yea i know, i just wonder if it works just like that. I think we dont know enough to say it with a certainty that hes fully human you know. I mean that could also mean that hes dead by now due to age for example. I do have a feeling that theres something more intricate going on there somehow.
I mean, to be a “human” he would need to be an offspring of nephalems, which are partly angelic and demonic. that cant be said about tyrael.

Yeah, D4 is what 20 years after D3? No he can’t be dead, they even let live Meshif from D2 or Lyndon from D3.
Also he might age a way differently then normal humans, who knows, let’s hope Angris council will let him have his angelic essence back one day - if he wants ofc

Yeah. Like first humans were Nepahlem, they lived longer and were powerfull, until Inarius started corrupt them and made them weaker humans. So we can asume he is now something like first Nephalems were?

mhmmm iuno, id still assume that this would also require a part of him being demonic you know, but yea, i think itll be something along those rules that applied to the nephalem.
D4 is 50 years after D3 . Meshif was like super-old.
