Where are all my D2 brothers at?

How funny are all these plebs complaining about seasons and this whole shako thing in the eternal realm? I love starting fresh on LoD racing with everyone, doing trist runs, tomb runs, cows into ancients and baal runs, trading and finding items, pvp’ing. People complain about not being able to bring over progression to seasons and actually got them to do away with the storyline, alters and FoW. Now all those plebs who were gonna quit in a month are leaving a bit sooner. Oh well. See you warriors in Ladder 1, the rest can be eternally forgotten!

Any d2 player would be used to exploiters botters and wallet warriors. Since that was literally like 99 percent of d2s playerbase.

I had a buddy that ran 15 bots at once 24 hours a day.

Its easy to remember the good parts of D2, but the game was a buggy mess, literally everyone cheated or was the recipient of gear acquired by cheating.

Pretty sure EVERYONE got banned for maphack. Was a common tool by the time they put down that ban hammer most used it.
Funny i never once got banned for a bot or real cheats like pick it.
But got banned for maphack once and got about 40 bans for playing legit and making games too fast. REALM DOWN!!

Lol maphack, pickit were standard tools for every player back then.

I miss my bugged marrowalk greaves

Do you remember “white” items? Dupes on closed bnet were happening but what really got it going was the oculus power stone of jordans.

Honestly the era of pick it was the best time in D2. You went to 8 man runs and the loot was actually fair. Not the greedy loot hogs that got everything it was pretty much random loot handed out.

Remember the negative skill tiara? Vendor dupes just double clicking the vendor real fast? Be amazed how many games had that same vendor dupe back then. I found one in Everquest someone could of made $$ for that. When i quit EQ accounts with less stuff than mine were listed for 20k dollars. I sold mine for 1500 instantly even being a first time seller and everyone was afraid i was a scammer.

Here’s me, part of the LOW% of the long term player, many thousands of hours club in D2 that has never, ever used 1 single ‘hack’ or ‘cheat’.

People are proud of botting, map hack, duping etc.
So pathetic.

Yeah, I remember the screen would freeze up for half a second cause everyone’s enigma teleported at the same second, 8 people frantically pressing their inventory hotkey to see if they picked first. Oh the days of keeping enough space in your inventory for one large item like grandfather or windforce in case you got the lucky pick.

Lol eventually tho pickit was necessary in rando group hell runs.

There was always that 1 jack@ss that would turn on hostilities after killing baal to get all the loot for himself :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

And when eveyone had pickit running you jist kinda had to have it aswell :rofl::rofl:

I never botted, but maphack was awesome cause it allowed you to inspect other players which was essential for pvp.

Best tool for pvp was running your app in the bot manually it removed ALL latency. Which we had alot of with our dial up.

Ooo I love a super fan. There will be a meet and greet soon. Can’t wait to meet you

At least unlock world tier 4 before you judge the game, I promise it gets good.
