When you recycle legendary with inprinted aspect next season

Will that inprinted aspect go to codex?

You mean a legacy one in eternal? I assume the answer is yes.

If you currently have an imprinted aspect on an item, I doubt you’d be able to destroy it and have it go to your codex when the patch hits. I only say this based on the fact you can’t destroy an Imprinted item now, and get the Aspect back.

I believe we still be able to recycle them, main question is will we get aspect back to codex

Use your common sense, imprinted aspects can not be extracted previously and hence does not go back to codex when slavaged post patch.

Be so cool if a case of beer worked this way.

It was already in your codex when you imprinted it and still is. So the question is pointless.
All aspects now go to codex and can be used as often as you want. No more squirreling away a well rolled aspect for the good item that might drop later.

Old items can’t interact with new systems. So before the patch goes live collect aspects, extract the aspect crystal and store it. Those aspect crystals will be added into the codex.

In PTR salvaging imprinted legendary gear did not upgrade the codex.

What developer said in Camp Fire chat, For Eternal Realm, any aspect you have in Inventory or stash will automatically upgrade your codex. You need to login to each of character if you store them in Inventory.

It’s a valid question. Yes the aspect must’ve been in their codex but the roll 5-10% is probably not stored.

In the new system, the highest roll you’ve salvaged is the one stored in the codex.

This question only has any merit if using legacy items after the patch, and even then only barely. Everyone should make every effort to quickly replace legacy items. The new items, taking advantage of the new systems, will be vast improvements.
