I lost my character like 8 hours ago… what take you guys that long to figure out it was you who killed out HC characters… can i get finall answer if you going to roll back and give us back what is ours back or you gonna let us dead because you dont do mistakes? Your decision is only thing im waiting for… No means for me to never turn again this game again… supporting developer which doesnt give a fk about his players doesnt make sense to me

No hardcore, no eternal. Guess ya gotta pay up for seasons.
This is why you dont play HC. I used to play HC in Diablo 2 but this game has too much random scaled burst damage.

There is a solution to hardcore problems in games like this where any DC or bug or things out of your control can kill your character.
Play in softcore but enforce hardcore yourself.
Die to bug → doesnt count
Die to mouse dying → doesnt count
Die to massive lag → doesnt count
Die to clicking wrong skill → counts
Die to something you did → counts
Way better this way.
I enjoyed HC in D3 but D4 HC is a lot more unforgiving than D3 so until that changes I’m not interested.

In this instance I support OP. Blizzard is 100% aware THEY goofed up. They should, at the very least, rollback only the Hardcore Servers.

hardcore is play at your own risk. I’d know. I’m in the hall of the ancients Rank #1.
The reward is very different from the ones softcore players get. Sure, we like getting the bright and shiny gear drops, but it’s about all the times we cheated death… running from the Butcher with a sliver of red in our health bubble and finding those three heal pots on the ground in the next room… or knowing that a mechanic we’ve never seen or an off screen skeleton ballista can mean we’re back to square one. It gives a sense of accomplishment, especially in the face of the mountain of cockroaches that is the D4 code base, that few can truly appreciate. Paragon 225 in HC but sitting out for a few days until this current crapfest gets dealt with.
No, the DLSS Debacle caused a lot of players to crash when meeting their first elite pack in dungeons or the overworld. This season they also changed the drop rate on the Scroll of Escape which can provide a way to survive a crash/disconnect. Those scrolls are now so rare some HC players haven’t seen one drop all season. Put the two together and it was a death sentence instead of a holiday event.
Well that’s fine and good, … To each their own.
But I’m never gonna play something like H C in diablo 4 current state, no matter what. Just don’t come crying when something happens and your investment goes " POOF ".
Repeat after me:
“I understand that my hardcore character will be lost if that character dies for ANY REASON and that I am ok with this happening. If am not ok with my character being lost for ANY REASON then I shall not play hardcore”
