When will we see the product of cumulative lessons learnt?

It seems D4 isn;t really progressing as it should from all the lessons learnt from previous seasons.

Way too many broken features slipping through to release with slow fix response times. I thought we were respecting people time?

Broken builds are not good for the game. It was clear from the PTR which builds were broken. Are Broken build rotations some sort of psychological marketing feature? Broken builds nullify efforts made towards endgame player retention.

With broken features, builds, crashes and basic bugs that go unfixed. Can we expect more heads to roll from the dev team?

Broken stuff is intendet.

It’S their lazy way of thinking.

“If we make clear the game is supposed to be broken we don’T have to fix it”

Isn’T that logic? They are clearly unable to make a coherent game and now i think they don’T even try anymore.

We are seeing it now. The lessons learned they are using relate to revenue and sales not the game. The game is a sales tool. Nothing else. Ever notice the cash shop always works and never has issues? Never has a bug or a sale on anything someone would want. Even when the battlepass is completed it still tries to sell you accelerated. Not just a happy coincidence.

Yes. They are intentional that’s why they never get fixed until next season. Rinse and repeat. This is what fun is according to Blizzard developers.

When any talent they have left goes off to make their own games/studios, they will likely bring lessons learned with them.

Lessons will be learn when we stop spending in cosmetic shop after much whining on forums, gnashing of teeth, and rending of garments. Bliz only understands 1 thing and that is $$$ or the lack thereof.

D4 has made 1B and counting. They only lesson they have learned is cha-ching! Keep making a “good enough” game while we gobble up cosmetics and cookbooks.

it’s not just this studio. it’s the majority of the industry. they have all learned that most people have low expectations. They are all getting away with it because there isn’t much being done in the way of quality games to compete.
