I have difficulties to find out when to switch my gear. Hear for example, I have two legendary weapons but the mace I’ve found, deals a lot more damage. Aspects can be transferred over. Is it really worth it at that point?

On weapons its really simple you always want higher weapon dps, in late game you need to look more at the secondarry stats but weapon dps is the single most important stat on weapons that you use for skills. On armor its not always that easy, if its a big armor upgrade its usually better esspecially early game but the secondary stats on armor are more of a difference maker than on weapons for example if you have a armor piece with +30 armor but you lose 4% crit chance and 10% damage for useless stats its definetly a downgrade.
