When the season 4 drops wht happens to the aspects we have been hording on out eternal realms are they going to let us salvage them or are the going to straight up Thanos snap them away and make us have to find new ones

Thank you for that clear up, it was not clearly stated the the patch notes.

No worries, and the patch notes for the PTR aren’t even out yet, so the only way to find this information is through a slightly older post this week. I have no doubt this question will be asked again before the patch notes officially come out next week though, so I keep this bookmarked just in case.

I also have the Q&A from the campfire if you need that too.

I’ve noticed a lot of content creators tend to skim over the less important parts, at least less important in their minds anyway. We don’t all play the game for a living, wouldn’t hurt to be thorough especially when a huge patch like this is coming out.

The linked discussion was about items of equipment, not extracted aspects. By “stored Aspect” do you mean “extracted Aspect”?

Yes, same thing. An Extracted Aspect right now is stored in your inventory or your stash as an actual item. Those will automatically be filtered into your Codex on Eternal when the patch hits.

When the patch hits though, any Aspects you Extract will automatically go into your Codex, we will no longer receive an Extracted Aspect item, those will be gone for good. Also in order to Extract an Aspect item now when the new patch hits, it will be done through the blacksmith, and not through the Occultist. You will essentially destroy an item at the blacksmith to extract the aspect. You will also get the transmog for it at the same time too.
