Just a general question about softcore…
- Why is there a countdown to exit the game? It’s as if the AI (NEEDS) to kill you before you exit the game, it’s quite awkward and weird, probably just lazy coding design on blizzards part, who knows… I don’t think you’ll ever admit to cheap game mechanics on a “blockbuster” game.
- Why do we have charges on our horse for softcore vs hardcore? It doesn’t make sense, another cheap game mechanic to “make the game harder” but it’s really more of a “hinderance” as I can just as easily kill the enemies but in helltide when I’m rushing to the maiden I get knocked off my horse by a stealth pro hellworm. It makes sense to have charges on hardcore to make it harder but on softcore like I said it just seems like the programmers just lazily threw that together.
- P.s. this is an observation, not a criticism
This is only when you’re outside of a safe zone. It’s a pretty normal mechanic in gaming.

Not really, I never had a countdown to go to the main menu in elden ring, dark souls, dragons dogma, dragons age, any elder scrolls, any open world rpgs other than Diablo 4… Same as charges for ur horse… My character runs faster than my horse half the time… Oh dang now you’re gonna nerf movement speed… I love how you guys mentioned “stat squish” for season 6… Just say you “nerfed” every other class to push the spiritborn… You guys should try to get sponsored by “nerf footballs” you like to nerf stuff a lot
I never had one and never experience it until now. The horse is a part of your hero meaning by leaping off the horse your hero trigger a attack. This mechanic reminds me of a battle horse that act like sword and shield. Diablo never had something like this before and I love it. There’s builds that can use a horse to deal damage to the monsters. Necro has a shadow build dealing damage when monsters comes into contact or curse build cast curse around the horse to have monster be hit with it. In groups this can work very well.
If you know anything about horses in real life you will know they do different speeds. To balance to make sure spritborn works properly. You can always play on the base game instead of the expansion.
I don’t think it is hex… I’m surprised razer didn’t respond lol.
Listen, I can understand in HC having a timer… but in SC, you guys literally put the least amount of effort into the build of the game, Diablo 3 had better gear/stats/ pretty much everything (which I’m seeing is why you guys literally copy and pasted d3 for VoH) and it’s still getting higher player count than Diablo 4!
I don’t get stuck on a rock trying to race to the world boss because I got on late… I don’t like having to watch my character die because of some useless timer that holds no purpose other than to watch your character die… I mean when I exit out of a tab/window on the browser it doesn’t give me a counter/timer to close the window…
Or how about the timer to summon your horse again because you had to climb down the side of a mountain?
Diablo 4 has some is the laziest mechanics I’ve ever seen in a Diablo game. You guys put 0% effort into the game and 100% effort into crappy looking cosmetics that you’re selling now in bundles after ramping up the price from 2400 platinum to 2800-3000. Activision must’ve got you by the gonads huh?
You guys are literally “milking your game” for all its worth while destroying it. Did you know there are over 12+ glitches/bugs that you haven’t fixed since season 2 patch that I have witnessed people mentioning in both Diablo4 and blizzard forums. I feel like the only bugs I’ve seen you gush fix are ones that affect your dev team directly…
Take my advice or don’t take my advice I don’t care all I’m saying is your competition is looking way better even after a mid season patch
Ps bring back the capstone dungeons, the pit is boring as hell and one of the reasons I switched, I enjoyed farming nightmare dungeons more than the pit… This “anti carry” mechanics you have now make your game even less fun, tbh the only funny I have is in helltide 100% (I’m glad you didn’t take helltides away, also the maidens were a nice touch fyi very fun in multiplayer) … Just a few thoughts
That’s okay, dude. No one can take away your right to be wrong.
