Its painfully slow compared to necro, rogue or sorc. When does it get better?
I’m doing a creeperslide build since you get the powers early. Started to pick up around 20ish. Still slower than my rogue (pre-season) but I wanted to try something different. WAY more tanky than rogue.
What build are you running? I’m cruising through T2 as Poison Druid.
Don’t level as Pulverize or Nado, or anything where you’re just spirit starved all the time, its bad.
Heard Lightning Storm is pretty fun to level as too but haven’t tried it myself.
I mean Twisting Blades got nerfed like 6 times for a reason. Vulnerable got hit really hard too which you get for free on Rogue, i imagine the Rogue levelling is a bit slower now. Haven’t tried tho but i do plan to make a Penetrating Shot rogue sometimes this season.
Also Creeperslide feels more like a midgame/speedfarm build to me, early game you lack a lot of synergies and i imagine late game it will run into the same scaling issues as trampleslide.
It gets manageable around lvl 50 tbh.
It is not slower then necro you are crazy
necro is way faster at early levels at least, bone spear 1 shots everything
Depends what build but u need aspects and it gets better round 40 to 50. Druid at 70 is powerful
Everything you need for shred is in the codex. Stormclaw aspect and Grizzly rage got nerfed, sure, but for leveling it works just fine. Be sure to grab the spirit replenishment options for blood howl and trample. Also since all the aspect slots in the leveling process are more flexible, I like having the dire wolf aspect on a 2hander for 60% spirit reduction from the codex. Nice thing is shred gear almost directly translates into werenado gear. Not exactly, but close enough that it makes the transition easy when and if you get your TR.
Also, the malignant gem that says pulls enemies towards you while you have an ultimate active is like screen wide. Works very well with shred using stormclaw aspect. Let’s be honest this is basically d3 monk that doesn’t actually have to press the cyclone strike button.
Think Druid has some really chill fast lvling. As others have said go Poison Slide, get the Aftershock aspect. So Poison creeper does an Aoe of 2 landslides. It’s super fun and melts.
I also always found Lightning storm to be great for lvling and density situations. With Nature fury passive it also will cast 2 landslides when procs.
im doing well as nado , cruisng through pretty nicely no real spirit issues as im selective with spamming nados ,
Once they fix mob density Lightning will rip. Since all the Aspects send Light dmg to other enemies and it bounces between them.
Also the Heart that charges enemies and does arcs of Lightning dmg is pretty nice. Got it with my Crone staff and makes melee rip.
I used windshear, lightning storm, bulwark, and boulder and plowed thru most things in tier 2 mode. Didn’t seem like it should work, but it worked out really well.
Give a counter to Druid being slow to level w/out mentioning any Aspect/Legendary to use challenge: Impossible.
Some aspects are basically free. All you have to do is clear a dungeon.
Like I mentioned in my previous reply, everything you need for a shred leveling build is in the codex. You might have to run a couple dungeons to access them, but once you do they are available to you at all times. That’s very different than a build defining aspect or unique being gatekept behind RNG.
