Whats the reason behind the 3-5 second leave dungeon change?

Dev literally didn’t answer the question at all or a reason for that matter. What a terrible response by Joe Shely. Was this just for game metric increase?

It must slow you down so much to wait a few seconds extra. I feel your pain.

My guess is they finally did the right thing and put the reset dungeon button back in for solo players because they finally understand how unfair groups have it and can’t fix that. In doing so, they decided to slow people down.

Also possibility is to limit HC escape cheese.

That was a wierd situation in their stream. Shely could not answer that - he was even the hole stream some kind of anywhere else with his mind it seemed.

I think you are 100% correct.

Confuse players, so they focus less on what they couldn’t change.

I honestly hadn’t noticed a thing til someone said this was apparently true. So, I don’t really care. Even after I knew, I couldn’t tell the difference.

This is what i think it is. I have noticed that during heavy server load, Some in game scripts seem to lag.

Slow down gameplay, was there answer in the campfire, or in short, anti abuse change who allowed faster leveling.

The animation is screwed up because of it

You can’t tell a difference between nearly double the length of time for an action to occur?

Adding the dungeon reset button increased speed clears, so it’s important to slow you down over an extended period of time, or something. It’s impossible to understand the decisions they make. There is no clear logic behind them.

Also I believe they will sell portal cosmetics. Notice how they changed the portal color to orange. Im going to assume they will add portal cosmetics to the shop for 1000 platinum.

Honestly, if you pay attention to the body language, of course they knew why it was done. It more than likely had something to do with an exploit. If they really wanted to slow people down, then they wouldn’t have put in the reset dungeon button or one of several other options. Though it still looked bad that they didn’t give a simple answer (even if it was a lie)

I doubt this is at all it. I think it was wholeheartedly to increase the amount of time people are in the game.

If it had anything at all to do with HC mode, they would have just made the change to the HC mode. Try telling me it wouldn’t work like that… because if death in that mode results in permadeath, that by default means they could apply the same method to another attribute within HC.

either to fix some bug or increase the amount of time people spend farming
