It literallty doesnt do anything, like what the hell is the point? you cant actually dodge any of the basic attacks thy bosses do, brol, yeah im literally getting straight meleed to death from attacks because i cant outheal the damage, and the dodge button doesnt do a thing to actually dodge the attacks, they still register, if you are going to make a dodge button. THEN MAKE ABILITES DODGABLE! kind of no brainer devs!

i think its more to get you out of AoE semi rapidly when you find yourself in a bad position, also to move you from telegraphed abilities that you dont have time to get out of because you wanted to complete that one animation.
It’s not for their melee attacks. Those you have to be able to have enough toughness to handle. It’s for their other telegraphed attacks.
yeah but half the time it still registers because the crap is server side, plus as a melee I have no way of actively avoiding the constant damage and dont have enough health pots to survive the damage.
im on T1 at lvl 28 how tf do you get more toughness when the game doesnt give you enough resources at lower levels to craft legendaries that cost 30k each to forge, what the hell am i missing?
I use it alot. You can use it to avoid attacks - alot of the melee attacks seem to have an arc. A safe bet is to roll behind the target at the exact moment of the attack.

This is by far the most correct answer. There are a few bosses who have large AoE zones, and if you are dead center and hesitate for more than a second you’ll likely get struck if you don’t dodge out.
im using ww im literally standing behind him and being hit constantly. so either bosses hit radius for his basic melee is bugged or something else is going on.
You’re obviously missing something because I’m playing on T2 and doing just fine, at level 48 currently. I don’t have time to go and micro inspect your character. Check your build and take more defensive abilities, check your armor and make sure you can upgrade it. Stop standing in puddles of bad stuff.
T1 is easy. If you’re dying I don’t know what else to tell you.
I was one of the top barbs in D3 so obviously im not sitting here standing in crap, thats just ridiculous, I literally am just getting hit by his basic basic melee attacks and it is slowly killing me over time until I run out of health potions, I went with a leveling barb build somebody provided its supposed to be the best one for barb so idfk at this point. I just want LPH back because this is pissing me off. stupid way to lose to a boss.
