I just made a new alt and wonder what would be the most efficient leveling build. Currently 20, tried pulverize, very clunky and had a hard time maintain healthy for those big hits, epecially at bosses lol.
Also tried lightning storm build, somewhat better than pulverize, but have to go in melee range (storm strike) to build resource to cast lightning storm seems a bit weird.
Currently trying out tornado, okish, but the tornado is SO hard to aim, some time i cast infront of the boss and it goes sideways and misss lol
So how did you guys level? Which build would be less painful?
I leveled up Landslide, very strong out of the box, but it’s a melee/ranged hybrid because of stormstrike. Only felt weak till I got Vine Creeper, then when I got crits can reset companion skills the whole thing went buttery smooth from there. Did WT3 capstone at level 45.

You’ll want to skip the early leveling section at the top and go directly to the second section. It is meant to be a spirit free build. I made my own modifications to it. I use Trample instead of Blood Howl, and I took Lightning Storm as my spender. I love it. It is a lot of fun to play.
Yes, you need to be in melee range to use Storm Strike, but you need to be in close for the vines and cyclone armor anyway, plus it gives you a 25% defense buff.
Use windshear or whatever it’s called from you basic attacks it’s ranged to generate energy or whatever to power your lightning. I added the running speed boost on hit for the windshear or whatever it’s called I can’t remember I am at work lol.
