its active now but it doesnt boost paragon to 300 and it the caches dont give ancestral gear, other than mythics. im not farming ancestrals on the ptr just to try and test some builds. the caches should be giving ancestrals

Which apparently happened roughly a half hour ago.

PSA: For anyone who doesn’t know, unequip your gear and put it in your stash if you plan to boost your character. Otherwise you will lose all the gear they are currently wearing.

Did you give detailed feedback? “Failed” doesn’t help much.

Which was never promised in the first place, so I’m not seeing a problem here. They specifically stated it would be the base game changes only with runes. They’re not about to let people play the expansion before it’s released.

Yep, just checked the PTR notes now. For some reason I thought it was included. Oh well, not much point to PTR then. Maybe I will max the sorc I started for the heck of it.

I had more fun claiming the boosts and gambling - deleting and going again. I went thru my 12/13 characters and now im down to 1 hard core and 1 normal.

I did see some visual bugs, at the end i was just tossing the chests on the ground instead of opening them and sometimes (happened more than once) a purple item showed so when I picked up the chest to open the purple item was gone.

So i started opening the chests and low and behold a purple item dropped (even from the runes one!) however picking up the purple item from the cache made it go back to a normal item.

I think from now on, im just going to wait for the ptr each season to claim the boosting play the open the box game and gamble/craft a bunch of crap to get my fill of fun.

Oddly there didn’t seem to be a way to max paragon.

I wish the cheat vendor drops Ancestral uniques so we can test further.
