Given the mass exodus here, what are some other new ARPGs you guys would recommend?

I keep hearing about Lost Ark and thinking that might be worth a try. Where’s everyone else going to next?

where did you hear that? heard it is full of bugs and people can’t even play and that all aside the actual content was nerfed to the ground

Last Epoch or Grim Dawn for ARPG

V Rising is really good for a rpg with action combat and alittle survival thrown in there.

Personally waiting on Remnant 2

Destiny 2 might be your cup Althoug it can be grindy… Still you keep all your stuff even after seasons.

I’ve been watching videos on Remnant 2 and debating next course of action -

I also have been debating going upstairs to work on jedi survivor - so far so good - impressed cool game

also been watching a lot of videos about BG3 - I’m just not sure I can deal with a turn based combat system - even though they have made improvements (e.g. swarm AI)

and then I was reading about a bunch of people panicking that their starfield collectors editions got “cancelled/voided”

all the while debating if I should make some brownies, decisions decisions

and I did have a fleeting moment of… should i load S1 and play a druid or necro (already did rogue, dont want to redo, and barb, my preferred class was trashed, and we all know the state of sorc)

I have to say Elden Ring if you have not played that one yet. I played through it twice and it was/is one of the best games i have ever played. The world is Huge too.

Yup im a 100 sorc myself quit after July 6th and havent been back to the game, no interest in seasons its not my thing and never was. Im more into real permanent content like dlc/expansions etc.

BG3 not my thing for combat it looks boring not into Tactical/RTS style gameplay too tedious for me and ultimately just not for me.

Starfield i have on xbox gamepass so no money wasted for that come Sept 5th. Remnant 2 early access starts Fri and i have a few NDA betas im getting into for upcoming games :slight_smile:

Elden ring is a great game, i just wish they had come out of the box with co-op that was 100% multiplayer - and not gating the fun stuff - patches/mods fixed that but it was a big let down i couldnt play it completely with my friends and son - and that definitely impacted our enjoyment

If you want to stay in the ARPG genre, and want more of the power fantasy, give Atlas Fallen a try, they’re slating for an August 10th date. If you’ve played Darksiders, it’s kind of like Genesis.

yeah the Multiplayer part is “D4 patch 1.1” level garbage, that’s for sure.

actually it’s definitely close - when we grouped up and were all excited and then started noticing all the areas “gated” it was like WTF… lame and also how annoying it was to even invite someone to party - you had to jump 5 times, spin 3 circles, spin back 2 times, recite the alphabet backwards and then find an item in your inventory , :stuck_out_tongue: very lame
