That is not hypocrisy.
I understand sarcasm raises the difficulty but you couldn’t remain coherent over three lines of writing. Obviously I don’t think Blizzard have been effective in doing original creative things. Overwatch was the exception. I disapprove of fleecing people. That usually means you suck and rather than providing a worthwhile game/experience lucrative on its merits you’re trying to maximize your return on investment in the dumbest way you can. I think in recent years Blizzard have been as dumb as their players, and the results aren’t pretty, although still profitable. I think the gaming market is desperate for a really good game. That a turd like Diablo IV can in some ways be considered a success is a testament to this, although now it’s circling the bottom of the toilet.

That is just so stupid. Arpg games are made so thatloot hunting etc is the core mechanic so that you can see clear improvements in power with new drops etc. Anyone playing these games will not purposefully play a gimped class just to add challenge, thats stupid. Ofcourse ppl will play the stronger classes when they give the most power. And no matter what class you play this season you surely get everything handed to you. Dont tell me there is a single class that cant kill an uber boss in under 10 sec.
Saying that all complaints about easyness is invalid just because i play a “good” build is completely bonkers. They shouldnt add this kinda amount of drops etc at all. It just gets boring at day 5 even if you play a gimped class.

stop playing meta ignore streamer builds do your own thing play solo hc dont look up guides n how to posts and/or go back to d1 n d2 stay there b happy but if you’re feeling blue n miss d4 come back we’ll be waiting.
the majority who keep the game running like causal friendly gameplay so go d1/d2 sounds like you need it

This is way more true than metaslaves will realize. I started with blood wave necro because for diablos sake I’m gonna copy paste an S tier build for pretty much the first time instead of tossing my build together myself.
I got everything in like 1 week (work, wife, irl stuff you know), I was speedfarming 125 when it hit me, that it’s actually pointless.
Deleted that char for good and made a blizzard (ice spike) sorc, man I’m having much more fun, the build is crap honestly compared to bw (C tier), but still can speedfarm t4 and good for 75-80 too. When season ends and the borrowed power will go away, not sure if it can handle t4, needs some serious buffs (frost builds got hurt the most with the burning changes).

I’m not sure how much you developed your build and if there is a space for improving. But my main issue is that imo that build is NOT a crap.
Every single char / build I tried (never used any guide or meta build, not sure what they even are) can clear content of campaign sooo fast that it makes this game very easy.
You have to either intentionaly downgrade your char, not using tempering to actually feel challenge like it was back in vanilla gameplay.
Only challenge is actually life in penitent/T1 diff…but if you temper life on your armor you are sorted and can blast away.

Honestly I think this is really only a problem with the seasonal activities. Headhunts and Lootholds were overcooked on the loot drops, probably even after they reduced them.
Stick with non-seasonal stuff and the loot is way worse until you get to Torments. Which at that point is fine, T1 should let you quickly get all your aspects and then Ancestrals not too long after. GAs are rare enough that maxing your codex isn’t trivial, though for me it didn’t take that long into T4.
So, yes I agree S7 progression is too fast but I attribute that mainly too seasonal stuff giving too many legendaries. Which diminished things like the Season Journey caches which instead of being an exciting thing that would help you put a build together was just lost in the noise.
Underneath that, Core Game, it’s probably not too bad.
Got 3 mythics, good temperings, OK 12/12 MW rolls, good rolled aspects, para 251, maxed seasonal powers and legendary seasonal gems etc.

You only have 1 skill on Necro that can do Pit 150, why do i need to spam it for 3 months? Cant they buff other skills?

In my experience this game is full of old farts and super casuals. Believe it or not the game is actually challenging for a lot of the player base. Which is wild, because nearly everyone copies the best build from the best players off a website and they still cant play well. If you’re wanting a challenge the only thing the game offers is pushing pit. Even then, 3 of the classes currently breeze through p150 without much effort.
but ya, everything is pretty much just gifted to us at this point. People cry about boss mats, materials, ubers, everything. Then the devs just hand stuff out for no effort. Sadly i think the majority of players want easy… or at least they think thats what they want. then when they get it easy they complain about how theres nothing to do.

I actually agree with your conclusion.
But it’s funny you think this is a skill issue rather than a ‘time & not caring as much’ issue. In most cases.
It’s not difficult, it’s just time consuming. Even more so if you don’t want to completely compromise on gameplay variety just to be as efficient as possible.
