So we have now 10 days after release of the season and I did already a lvl 100 NMD
And Lilith… What can I do now? … For me I’m absolutely disappointed there are no content.
I’m not a grinder at all and have around 3 days of playtime now unlike others
Can’t believe there is basically nothing to do but you got 3months for it …

In preseason I farmed for a Tempest Roar for a long time at 100 and finally gave up. Due to my own stupidity, I decided to roll a Druid this season and stopped playing it after the other helm dropped a few times and no TR. I may be done entirely with Druid at this point.
I rolled a Necro because the bone spear helm actually drops.
Level 40
I had fun first 10 or so levels - most my friends got the top pack and then most of them quit the week I started playing.
Week two was less fun with no friends and wasnr really enjoying the campaign so I uninstalled.
May try again in a year or two.

What is the reason you are still in the forum?

After 100?
I cant even bring up the will to get to 100.
At 75 the game kinda feels done.

The answer is: There is no reason to play after that. The season is over for you, unless you want to start another character or try it on hard core.
I can’t believe you thought this was an unending quest? There is a reason the season is only 3 months. Some people will take the time to get there, and others will fly though it and then have nothing to do for several weeks. That’s it, dude.
Go play something else until next season.

Imo lvl 100 kinda is the end of the game, not the endgame. So I dont think there should be anything significant to do after that.
But right now there is Lilith and NM push. Preferably at least Lilith should be balanced a bit below 100 too. If 70-100 is endgame, the endgame should be somewhat accessible at that lvl.
Achievements?
Hardcore? Though thats not everyones cup of tea.
You also have a unique opportunity to take a 2 month break so that when you come back for season 2, you wont feel burned out.
D4 just doesnt have the content to play every day indefinitely like WoW and other games.
This is a game with a finite end.

I hope to make it to 100 before the next season starts.
But it’s also possible that I won’t have fun with D4 before that, although it doesn’t look like it at the moment.
In this case then I’ll just put it aside and do something else until next season.
Congrats, you’ve completed an insane grind and exhausted all the content.
Games should not be balanced around people like you, or they would be miserable for people with jobs and other hobbies.

Perhaps they’d be happier in a subscription based game with “endless” content. Though, to be real, some people are never happy.

So 72 effective hours played, that’s what it takes to get to 100.
And that’s why, for 99% of the population, who don’t have the time and/or patience to play all day, leveling feels like a chore. Imagine if people would get there after 12 hours played, as it would be “normal” for most of us…
We don’t need your kudos, we need your pity.

I think D4 can easily give off the wrong impression. Its good to realize what it really is and make decisions from there.

Wait, you guys can play after 100 seconds of logging in?! I just get bored and close the game.

How anyone makes it to 100 is beyond my comprehension.
