I don’t think that one will make a lot of difference probably won’t even feel it. Execution or messing with paragon buffs would really nuke it. Just have to wait and see how it all plays out. Not looking good though unless you’re interested in the builds, they want you to do.
Gonna guess they will add something that makes your whirlwind fire mighty throws as you spin? Not the worst idea i guess lol… or steel grasp…etc
This kind of garbage is what people mean when they say d4 has clunky combat for an arpg.
Sounds like Whirlwind/ Hammer of the Ancients is gonna turn into Whirlwind/Death blow
It’ll be a bigger problem on bosses for sure. Not to mention with us constantly summoning our skeletons basically on cooldown, we’ll never be able to summon the priest to buff our minions or ourselves with the right aspect.
It gets even worse if you increase the amount of skeletal warriors you can summon by 2, there would be no way you’d ever see the priest. Now if they made it so when you summon skeletons it summons 2-3 per corpse, not a problem, otherwise all you’ll be doing is spamming the button.
I dont know why they dont just allow minions to respawn like the golum. It would solve so many issues. POE2 witch has that and it works fine.
Deathblow looks good on paper, but until you find a Third Blade it’s useless and after you do it runs out of steam in higher levels.
Whoever said a whirlwind/Deathblow build HAS to use the Third blade? I ask because I have only seen a couple videos on it and I think there may be another way.
With Third Blade it becomes a Core skill and doesn’t have a cool down. Getting the cooldown down to a useable level wastes a lot of slots that are better used for other things.
